Every one must be enjoying the latest Beta build of iOS 6 that is iOS 6 Beta 3. The new build of iOS 6 Beta arrived the day before after a long time span. It usually takes about two weeks for a Beta to get released, but this time it took more than two weeks for the iOS 6 Beta 3 to debut. While many of you would be busy in downloading the new iOS 6 Beta 3 or must be finding the download links for iOS 6 Beta 3 that are present here, might not be aware of the update made to Redsn0w Dev version.
Like always, this time also @MuscleNerd updated the Dev version of Redsn0w 0.9.13 Dev 3 for the support of iOS 6 Beta 3 that came out the day before on Monday. The complete change log of iOS 6 Beta 3 is present here. This new version of Redsn0w 0.9.13 Dev 3 doesn’t brings any new support for A5 and A5X devices that means the support for iPad 2, iPad 3, and iPhone 4S is out of the box for now. This version of Redsn0w will only work with iPhone 4 and below devices.

Update #2 – July 16: The “dev3” version covers today’s 6.0beta3 release (and also adds explicit support for 6.0beta2). Please point redsn0w at the 6.0b3 IPSW in order to jailbreak beta3 and boot tethered. ** You must use “Select IPSW” to point redsn0w at the beta3 IPSW before every tethered “Just boot” **
As stated by @MuscleNerd in his Tweet to see the updateX2, we have posted the updateX2 that states to select the IPSW in Redsn0w 0.9.13dev3 and Boot Tethered once the process is done because the Jailbreak is tethered. Due to the iOS 6 is in Beta and Tethered Jailbreak is not supported on A5 and A5X devices, the Jailbreak will not work on these devices. In order to make it work, you need to wait until the final release of the iOS 6 that is this fall. Once the iOS 6 is released the Jailbreak would be available for iPhone 4 and below iDevices, where as the Jailbreak for A5 and A5X Devices would take sometime to debut.
