What is Redsn0w Jailbreak Tool?

Redsn0w is a free iOS Jailbreaking Tool that was developed by the iPhone Dev-Team. This iOS Jailbreaking Tool allows a person with iPhone, iPod, or iPad to get to the next level of features. This Tool simply allows one to have his Device free from the Jail of Apple’s limited features on his/her iDevice.

What iDevices Redsn0w Supports and What iOS Version?

As Redsn0w Jailbreaking Tool is a freebie, so it is updated according to the support and release of every new iOS with the iPhone/iPod/iPad. For now, Redsn0w supports all Generation iDevices up until the latest iOS version. Until now the support for iPhone 4S, iPad 2, and iPad 3 has been added into the Redsn0w latest version that was missing in the previous release’s.

You might have noticed that we have included iOS 6 at some places. However, the iOS 6 hasn’t released yet. We have putted on the iOS 6 because it can be Jailbreaked Tethered whenever it is out on the following iDevices showing iOS 6 on them. Currently iOS 6 is in Beta and can be Jailbroken Tethered with the help of Redns0w 0.9.13dev2.

What is this Tethered Jailbreak?

Redsn0w doesn’t come with a single Jailbreak technique. It got few Jailbreak stages that are

2. Tethered Jailbreak
3. Semi-Tethered Jailbreak
