This very fine Thursday, Apple released a fresh update for the newly released OS X Mountain Lion. This new update of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 brought some minor bugs fixed. No such major changes became known other than iMessages, Migration Assistant and few more changes. Soon after the update of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1, Apple emancipated a new build of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 Beta 1 for Developers. This new beta build of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 went for beta testing registration on Wednesday. Apple invited the developers who wanted to test the new build of OS X Mountain Lion on Wednesday to signup at Apple’s seeding portal, where they will release this Beta build to selected developers only. Those who signed at the right time now have this new OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 Beta build.

The initial build of OS X Mountain Lion contains the build number (12C31A). The combo pack of this build compromises total of 642MB and can be downloaded from the Apple’s Developer Portal. With the release of this Beta build for OS X Mountain Lion, Apple has asked the Developers to give first priority on the Facebook integration that they have provided in this build. After that, the developers should focus on Messages, Game Center, Safari, and Reminders while testing OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 (12C31A) build. As for now this first beta of OS X Mountain Lion got no issues.

 What to Expect in OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2

There is nothing much to expect in the OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 because Apple recently released the first update to its most advanced OS X and so called Future of OS X in just less than a month after its release. The new update of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 only brought in some bugs fixed and no such major changes were found.

As the new OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 initial Build has been released to the developers, there is no new thing noticed other than the deep Facebook integration with OS X Mountain Lion. The only new thing would be coming in the upcoming build of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 would be of Facebook integration and some improvements made in Messages, Notifications, Safari and Reminders. Apple might be planning to integrate Facebook with all of these features.
