It is highly expected that Microsoft is planning to make an Xbox Surface of a 7-inch that will look a lot like a Tablet, but it will be a gaming tablet. In other words, we can say that, Microsoft will release an updated version of Sony PSP by increasing the size and dimension of tablet.
Those of you are aware with the name of PSP must know that PSP is a portable gaming device made by Sony. It is very handy and easy to use than other gaming consoles. One can surf the Internet, take pictures, listen to music, and can do much more with that small console. After getting inspired from that small gaming console, Microsoft has planned to come up with a 7-inch gaming tablet called Xbox Surface. The confirmation about a 7-inch Gaming Tablet in works comes from The Verge, whose reliable sources stated some solid information about the Xbox Surface.
Microsoft is building its own 7-inch gaming tablet. Multiple sources familiar with plans within Redmond have confirmed to The Verge that initial hardware planning for an Xbox Surface is underway. Specifications for an Xbox Surface 7-inch tablet computing deviceleaked back in June ahead of Microsoft’s Surface RT and Surface Pro announcement. We’re told that the initial specs were accurate and that the final implementation is being worked on.
It is highly anticipated that Microsoft will release Xbox Surface only for the gamin purpose with custom hardware manufacturing that will solely focus on Gaming only. The report also claims that the Xbox Surface wont be having any Windows installed on it because it will be purely dedicated for gaming purpose only and small things like Messages, Mails, and etc. would be present in the Xbox Surface for the users convenience.
The production of Xbox Surface is underway and the gaming team is working hard to make different games for this Xbox Surface at Microsoft’s HQ present at Redmond. Recently, Microsoft limited its employees to access Entertainment Business Division because of secret production are underway.
All we have to do is just wait and watch about this upcoming tablet by Microsoft, Xbox Surface. After it is released, then we will have to see that how it beats the iPad Mini. According us the weight of the Xbox Surface would be more than the iPad Mini and the Wight is the major thing that counts in the tablet niche.
