The unannounced iPad 5 Design and display details emerged portraying lighter, faster, and slimmer design. All the credit goes to backlighting and touch screen improvements that are under way.

After grinding the iPad 5 rumors by rumor mill, the time has arrived for analyst’s to start their work of analysis on the upcoming iPad 5. We all know that the amount of rumors regarding the iPad 5 are not enough to conclude anything or no solid leaks have surfaced the Internet due to which we cannot say anything regarding the arrival of the iPad 5 because it will be early to conclude or put some light on the partial information.  However, a display analyst of the iPad 5 shared some information regarding the iPad 5 design and display with CNET in an E-Mail.

According to the analyst, Semenza the iPad 5 design told CNET that the improvements made to both back-lighting and touchscreen of the iPad 5 display will allow it to be both slimmer and lighter.

“It’s likely that part of the thinner/lighter design will be reducing the size of the LED backlight, partly by making the display more efficient and partly by using more efficient LEDs,” said Paul Semenza, an analyst at NPD DisplaySearch, in an e-mail to CNET.

He said he also expects other modifications to reduce thickness. “The other significant change that we feel is likely is a shift to a film-based touch sensor,” Semenza said.

In an email from the analyst Semenza, he is expecting Apple to make some design changes in the iPad 5 that are making it slimmer than preceding models of iPad 4 and iPad 3. We can conclude that the leaked front display of the iPad 5 white seems to be legit and Apple is planning to carry out the iPad Mini like design for the iPad 5, so they can reduce the thickness and make it faster.

The rumors mill has once again started its process to grind the rumors regarding iPad 5 after iPhone 5S. Today the iPad 5 images leaked surfaced the Internet showing front display in white color.

As we are approaching near WWDC 13, rumors have started to gain a great pace regarding un-announced Apple products leak. At first we were hearing about the iPhone 5S to debut in multi color scheme with July unveiling and now reports from a reliable French Blog is claiming the arrival of iPad 5 in iPad Mini like design is sent for production. The reports of iPad 5 in production comes from a reliable French blog called NoWherelse, who got the iPad 5 leaked images from a moles of them in China.

According to the source of information, the iPad 5 images leaked are hinting towards the production of the iPad 5 to be underway and the front panel in White color that surfaced the Internet clearly shows iPad Mini like design. The round edges of the front screen is portraying the sides as of the iPad Mini, where as the size seems to be the same as of the iPad Mini.

As you can see in the iPad 5 leaked images above that the round edges of the front display are crafted finer than the preceding models of the iPad. If we compare the round edges of this leaked iPad 5 front part with the iPad 4 or retina iPad, we can clearly say that it has fine edges than the iPad 4 or retina iPad. In this case, we cannot conclude anything because the authenticity of the images cannot be confirmed. Moreover, we can draw two conclusions being the first one as declaring it is as an iPad Mini 2 with retina display or we can say that the hands of the person holding the front display are small due to which we cannot see the actual size.

After the arrival of 128GB, iPad With Retina Display comes the number of iPad 5 to rule the Internet. Beating the news of the alleged arrival of iPhone 5S with iPhone 6, iPad 5 rear shell suddenly surfaced the Internet pointing out towards a complete new design. The rear shell that was leaked with complete new design is believed to be of the iPad 5 because it was highly expected that Apple would redesign the upcoming iPad 5. The shape of the iPad 5 would be completely different from its predecessors. Until now, every iPad has the same design other than the iPad Mini. The iPad Mini has a different design than the iPad 4 and its predecessors.

As far as the design of the iPad 5 is concerned, it is rumored that it will imitate the same design as of the iPad Mini. The color variation of the iPad 5 will be the same White & Silver, Black & Slate, thinner frame, round edges, and all the design elements that iPad Mini has, but with a bigger size of 9.7-inch. Following the claim of the imitation of iPad 5 of iPad Mini, a purported Chinese iPad case Maker tipped the folks over 9to5mac with the alleged images of the rear shell of the iPad 5.

The authenticity of the images sent to 9to5mac cannot be verified because the images are not clear enough to put our faith in them and to believe that the leaked rear shell is legit. The Chinese iPad case manufacturer told that the rear shell is the prototype of the Apple iPad 5 and this is how the iPad 5 with a 9.7-inch display will look like (if released). Comparing the images of the iPad 5 rear shell with the iPad Mini, the design of both the casings are the same. The only difference is of the screen size.

If you examine the above picture clearly, you will see the back plate that is present on the alleged iPad 5 rear shell shows that the casing was of Wi-Fi + LTE model of the iPad.

For the time being, lets believe that the images are legit, and then we can conclude that Apple has started to make the iPad 5 Internally or has started to design the iPad 5 internally and has planned for the September launch of the iPad 5. If the launch of the iPad 5 is scheduled for September, then we can say that images floating from China are somewhat legit because the iPhone 5 images were leaked months prior to official announcement.
