This year Sunday is going to be Funday again. Keeping the tradition alive, the newly formed team called The Evad3rs has planned to release the iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak this Sunday to make it Funday. The work on the Untethered Jailbreak was previously done by the Evad3rs and the team was waiting for the iOS 6.1 to release that was done today by Apple. Today Apple released the most awaited iOS 6.1 for the public with some new features added to SIRI, the personal virtual assistant for Apple Devices along with minor bugs fixed.
As Apple has released the iOS 6.1, now comes the turn of Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 6 that is planned for this Sunday Funday release by The Evad3rs. In a conversation on Twitter by the team members of the Evad3rs, the front man and well-known member of the Team, @MuscleNerd hinted about the Untethered Jailbreak to arrive this Sunday with Super Bowl. According to his Tweet on Twitter:

MuscleNerd clearly hinted towards a Super Bowl that will be happening this Sunday with the Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 6 that will be arriving the same time.

Other than this, the newly released iOS 6.1 has been declared as safe by the iOS Hackers. Therefore, you can update to iOS 6.1 on your iPhone/iPod/iPad without any hustle.

The iOS Hackers are fixing some codes in the public release. After the codes are fixed, they will do some Beta Testing and prepare the Tool for the final release.
