iPod Touch, iPod Nano And iPod Shuffle – All You Need To Know

We are only few minutes away from the largest product releases to be made by Apple. As we have been passing through many rumors and some are likely confirmed also. We have been reading about iPod’s line-up to refresh with major changes and haven’t seen any new iPod yet but today it’s thought to be revealed and will be much better than the iPhone 5’s structure, thickness wise.

Well, today one of the most famous ex-iOS hacker (Will Strafch, @chronic) revealed the code names of the all-new iPod touch’s, Nano’s and shuffle’s. The iPod touch has internal codename ‘N78’, iPod Nano is code-named ‘N31’ and iPod shuffle is code named ‘N12B’. He revealed that the new iPod touch is going to run the processor ‘S5L8942X ‘ which is actually the same single-core A5 processor in the Apple TV. Below is what he tweeted

As many of the regular readers know that @chronic also had an internship in Apple a year before which may give us a beep to think the reason of the code names being reported by him. The iPod shuffle is expected to launch in 8 colors in total which are Pink, Yellow, Blue, Green, Purple, Silver, ‘Slate’ and Red excluding black and white. By the sources, it’s confirmed that the standard memory of iPod shuffle will remain the same that is 2 GB. The prices are expected to remain the same with a new unknown accessory to launch today named ‘Loop’, which will be available in White Black, White Red, White Pink, White Yellow and White Blue colors selling at a price of $1o. Nothing is yet revealed about this accessory but it will be actually used for iPod touch.

We haven’t seen a major influence on iPod’ by Apple since years because Apple use to have a regular event at the end of the year related to music only revealing updates and new devices but since two years we haven’t seen another iPod touch after the iPhone 4 was revealed. A year back, we saw a green iPod shuffle’s picture and had the same code name as revealed now.

Well instead of taking iPod’s to the new level, Apple also will reveal the great iPhone 5 for which mainly the event is organized at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Its for the first that every one is completely believing on the prototype and according to the prototype and other stuff revealed at IFA 2012 it’s confirmed that a new cable is going to be introduced by Apple for all the new iDevices which will be a 9 pin connector instead of 30. Today its revealed that the 9 pin connector will be named ‘Lighting’ and the headphones which revealed a week before which looked much better than the new one and had Apple’s name on the wire is named ‘Earpod’. Yet its not confirm that will they actually land with the new iPhone 5 and iPod’s pack or not.

Revamped iTunes 11 Coming in Few Hours at iPhone 5 Media Event

It seems like Apple is on the lead to beat the leaks and rumors from different other sources. Today, Apple is on the threshold for leaking official confirmations regarding what will be coming at iPhone 5 Media Event that is going to be held in few hours from now. Moments ago, Apple officially leaked the name of the upcoming iPhone. The upcoming iPhone 5 would be called, the “iPhone 5” rather than the alleged name of The New iPhone. It was highly expected that the upcoming iPhone would be name, The New iPhone and not the iPhone 5. However, the expectations went wrong.

Soon after the leaked name of the iPhone 5 from apple.com, another leaked document revealed, Apple is going to introduce iTunes 11 along side many new and exciting announcements.

According to 9to5mac, the new iTunes 11 is fully customized and redesigned with many new features. The iTunes 11 would be faster than preceding versions. The new iTunes 11 would also look smoother.

The features of the iTunes 11 are unknown for the time being and cannot be told until it is released for public. The wait for the iTunes 11, iPhone 5, iPod Nano, and for the iPod Touch would be over in just few hours.

We are only three hours away from the unveiling of the new iPhone and we were predicting the name of the upcoming iPhone 5 before it was this close to the launch. Some people stated the name would be “The New iPhone 5” and some stated the name would be “iPhone 5”. There were some confusions going around with the name of the iPhone. However, today before the official launch, Apple’s search Engines made the guessing easier for us. They even confirmed the official name of the upcoming iPhone in next few hours.

The name leaked by Apple’s Search Engines is the “iPhone 5”.

iPhone 5 Pre-Orders to Twitch on September 14, Friday, Hints Apple

We all are aware of the fact that Apple will be unveiling the iPhone 5 at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00AM PDT that is tomorrow. It was believed that the iPhone 5 would be available for pre-orders the same day on September 12. The same report of the same day pre-orders is now being contradicted by another incoming report from Macrumors that is making Friday as a favorite day for the iPhone 5 pre-orders to begin. Previously it was believed that Apple would announce the pre-orders the same day the iPhone 5 will get unveiled. However, Apple’s pre-order policies have varied with the passage of time. They never remained consistent.

Following the announcement of the iPhone 4S last year, Apple announced the pre-orders would start at 12:01 AM Pacific Time and the pre-orders never started at the same time. The pre-orders were 45 minutes late.

So forth today, the report from Macrumors stated:

MacRumors is now hearing that pre-orders may not begin tomorrow following the media event and that they may instead start on Friday morning in a scenario similar to last year’s debut. We’re hearing that certain portions of Apple’s sales support team are significantly increasing their staffing levels beginning at 6:00 AM Eastern on Friday, with a major surge for the initial shift beginning at that time and a sustained level of high staffing for at least the remainder of the day.

According to the recent report, the pre-orders for the iPhone 5 are not going to start before Friday. It was highly expected that Apple would announce pre-orders on the same day of the iPhone 5 unveiling as they did on WWDC 12 for the Retina Mac Book Pro’s. Apple at WWDC 12 announced the pre-orders of the newly announced retina MAC Book Pro the same day sales also starting the same day. After seeing that behavior, it was highly expected the pre-orders for the iPhone 5 would begin the same day.

Unfortunately, the iPhone 5 will not go for pre-order before Friday. However, it has also came into consideration that Apple is doing conscription of employees for Friday. It is widely expected that the iPhone 5pre-orders will kick off at 6:00 AM Eastern Time Friday. We can say the expected time is 6:00 AM and the delayed time would be around 6:45 AM Eastern Time (calculated on last year’s delay).

The sales of the iPhone 5 pre-orders would start exactly a week later on September 21, 2012. Don’t be too much reliant on the above-mentioned time or date because you never know when the iPhone 5 shortage starts and the delivery time increases from days to months. Delaying of products has been the worst gift from Apple for its fans.
