Dead Trigger For Android Made Free Due To High Piracy Threat

Piracy is the biggest Pain in the A## for developers and might be for users who don’t want to pay for an App. Indeed it is a great pain in the A## for developers who make Apps with real hard work and great motivation for the users on different platform’s. It goes with iOS and Android. The piracy has screwed both of them. We have seen developers trying to make their Apps more secure on iOS than Android because iOS is on the top list of piracy. Every new game that releases in the iOS App Store comes to list of piracy in just a matter of time.

If we estimate the piracy rate on iOS, it would be 90% on daily basis. If we see Android in the matter of Piracy, the rate goes even higher than iOS. The piracy rate on Android would be 95-97% (The rates are purely estimated on the basis of cracked Apps that we found at different places). In other words, Android got more piracy than iOS. This can be confirmed by the lowering of prices on the Google Play Market. The piracy has made the Developers to lower the prices of the Apps on Google Play Market to avoid piracy. Unfortunately, the piracy isn’t stopped.

Likewise, recently the developer of MadFinger games has made the most downloaded and the best FPS graphics App on Android free due to piracy lush called DEAD Trigger. This App is also available on the iOS Platform.

At first DEAD Trigger was a paid App on Android Platform and later on, it was made free due to privacy lush only on Google Play Market. The developers of the DEAD Trigger stated the reason of making it free on their Facebook page blaming the piracy as the main reason.

Official Statement:

Regarding price drop. HERE is our statement. The main reason: piracy rate on Android devices, that was unbelievably high. At first we intend to make this game available for as many people as possible – that’s why it was for as little as buck. – It was much less than 8$ for SHADOWGUN but on the other hand we didn’t dare to provide it for free, since we hadn’t got XP with free-to-play format so far. – However, even for one buck, the piracy rate is soooo giant, that we finally decided to provide DEAD TRIGGER for free. Anyway – DEAD TRIGGER is not FREEMIUM, it always was and still remains FREE-TO-PLAY, that means, all players are able to play it without IAP! We stand up for this statement, because all members of our team are playing (and enjoying) DEAD TRIGGER without IAP.

They have lowered the price of their App called SHADOW Gun from $8 to $4.74 in the Play Market due to piracy rate. However, the App DEAD Trigger on iOS still costs $0.99 and hasn’t yet made free.

Apple to Provide Adapter for 19-pin to 30-pin Connector for iPhone 5 (Report)

Earlier today, we reported about the news that came from Reuters stating that the iPhone 5 would feature a 19-pin dock connector replacing the old fashioned 30-pin connector in iPhone. This replacement of dock would provide Apple with some great opportunities like new design and much more. The problem was that how would the new iPhone would fit in the old 30-pin dock connector accessories? This thing was missing from the previous news. Now this issue has been taken care of.

According to the latest reports from iMore:

We haven’t heard if one will be included in the box along with the iPhone 5, or will only be sold separately, but either way, come October, you’ll be able to get a new-to-old Dock adapter from Apple.

iMore got the information about this Adapter from the same source that told them about the new dock connector back in February. This isn’t the first time that Apple would be releasing Adapter. They have done the same with MagSafe to MagSafe 2 adapter.

Why Apple is moving to a 19-pin Dock Connector?

Apple is moving to a 19-pin Dock Connecter because that would consume less space and Apple is in need of space. They need to change the design, make the battery up to the level of 4G LTE and of course they need to insert the 4G LTE Radio Chip in the new iPhone 5. To insert in the chip in the new iPhone, they need to have some space. That’s why every single piece of space matters.

More over, iMore notes that the new Adapter would be released with the iPhone 5 on the media event or after the iPhone 5 has been released. The Adapter will work with all the models of iOS Devices.

There is no need to panic for the 19-pin dock connector and don’t sell out your accessories to make some bucks for the upcoming accessories. Apple will be releasing a compatible version for the 19-pin dock connector Adapter fitting in your old accessories.

19-pin Dock Connector and Ear Phone at Bottom Confirmed for iPhone 5

When the name and the launch date is not confirmed for a product we take it as a Rumor, but when nothing is confirmed other than few parts leaked pictures for an upcoming product, we call it confirmation. Same thing is happening with the upcoming Apple’s iPhone 5. Some call it iPhone 5, some call it The New iPhone, and some call it the Sixth-Generation iPhone. This Monday morning Reuters, a well-known news source in the matter of Apple revealed that the upcoming iPhone 5 would be having a 19-pin Dock Connector rather than the old fashioned 30-pin Dock Connector that Apple has used since the launch of their 3^rd Generation iPod Touch.

The Confirmation about 19-pin Dock Connector comes from Reuters Stating that:

The iPhone 5, Apple’s next generation iPhone expected to go on sale around October, will come with a 19-pin connector port at the bottom instead of the proprietary 30-pin port “to make room for the earphone moving to the bottom”, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.

Other than, the 19-pin Dock Connector the replacement of the Head Phone Jack is also expected. The headphone jack might be placed next to the dock connector as Apple did in their Fourth-Generation iPod making it easier to connect to different sound systems and stereos.

According to Mactrast, iMore was the first major source to reveal this news about the 19-pin Dock Connector later on backed by different credible sources.

Concluding, we can assume that the iPhone 5 would get a 19-pin dock connector with the relocated headphone jack at the bottom making it easier for the accessories maker to come with new things for the iPhone 5. This opportunity can give Apple a chance to make changes to its design for the future products and will allow Apple to add up extra battery or anything they like. The other cell phone companies have migrated to a micro-USB connecters making it easy for a user to charge their phone and they can transfer the data easily. Apple iPhone 5 to Showcase on September 21, Friday (Rumor)

Today we got another rumor stating the launch of the iPhone 5 on September 21, 2012. This new rumor comes from a French blog that is not yet very much reliable and we have never heard of it before. This Monday morning that blog comes with a new rumor that the iPhone 5 is set for this September launch. Even the blog gave out a date for the iPhone 5 launch. The date is said to be 2 September 2012 following the footprints of the previous launch of the iPhone 4S in October 2011.

Apple unveiled their new line up of iPhone in mid of October by releasing the iPhone 4S. Following this launch sequence of the iPhone 4S, many of the people out there are still betting that the iPhone 5 would be out in October. Nevertheless, the rumors out here are bringing in vicissitudes in the hopes of people waiting for the iPhone 5 impatiently.

Like this French blog, App4phone states that:

While the track’s August 7 logically begins to cool, we learned from our source that the future iPhone would be launched in September 2012, specifically September 21, 2012 . This date sticks rather well with Planned Apple, knowing that the iPhone 4S was made available in mid-October 2011.

This September 21 concerns the United States, a part of Europe (including France and the United States), and china.

We cannot say anything regarding the legitimacy of this rumor by App4phone because there are no solid records set by this French blog yet.

Previously, Know Your Mobile blog stated that the iPhone 5 would be landing this August 7 and later on, this rumor was killed by The Loop stating a big “NO” on this rumor.

After this rumor, we came across new news today from DigiTimes sating that the iPhone 5 has been sent into production. The third party manufacturer of Apple Pegatron has started to manufacture Apple iPhone 5 in Eastern China.

On the same hand, BGR reported a week ago that the iPhone 5 hasn’t passed the EVT (Engineering Verification Test). After it has passed the test, then it will go into production.

Over here a lot of contradiction is going on regarding the iPhone 5. Every one is stating their own news making the rumors go on heat. To be honest the rumor things are not new in the field of Apple’s new releases. Every time Apple wants to release something, the first thing to be released is RUMOR.
