iOS 6 for iPhone 3GS, Not for iPad 1 Coming at WWDC 12 With Safari 6

This year WWDC 12 is almost around the corner and only few hours’ left for the happening of WWDC 12. We are already seeing and hearing many rumors, niche blog’s expectations from WWDC 12. Every thing will come to light in few hours. The game will end in few hours when we will see iOS 6 Beta Version with some other great new features landing in iOS 6. Like last year, Apple announced iOS 5 on their WWDC 11 with over 100+ features. This time we have to see that what features does Apple come up with in iOS 6. Lets hope that they change the user interface this time. These types of talks and predictions will continue till those few hours until the iOS 6 Beta and Safari 6 Developer preview isn’t talked about at WWDC 12.

Now, seeing the past record of Apple, we were expecting that the iOS 6 will not support iPhone 3GS and iPod 3G, instead it will support all other iDevices than these two Devices. But, the prediction went wrong and vice versa happened. The news of vice versa comes from a Chinese forum called WeiPhone.com, reported by macrumors that they have got the links of the download of the iOS 6 Beta 1 build (10A5316k). The links are not specific to iOS 6, they are also pointing out towards the Beta release of Mountain Lion, Safari Developer Preview, and iOS 6 for numerous iDevices.

The validity of these links cannot be done now because they are not pointing towards the download files. When the links are opened, they show an error of:

ios-6-wdc-12

your session has expired.

Please return to the ADC Member Site and attempt to download the file again.

These links are pointing towards the download center of iOS 6.

The complete list of links includes:

Third-generation iPad
– Consumer: Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi + Cellular (GSM), WiFi + Cellular (CDMA)
– Enterprise: Wi-Fi, WiFi + Cellular (GSM), WiFi + Cellular (CDMA)

iPad 2
– Consumer: Wi-Fi, WiFi + 3G (GSM), WiFi + 3G (CDMA), Revised Wi-Fi
– Enterprise: Wi-Fi, WiFi + 3G (GSM), WiFi + 3G (CDMA), Revised Wi-Fi

iPhone
– Consumer: 4S, 4 (GSM), 4 (CDMA), 3GS
– Enterprise: 4S, 4 (GSM), 4 (CDMA), 3GS

iPod touch
– Consumer: 4th Generation
– Enterprise: 4th Generation

Apple TV
– Consumer: 2nd Generation, 3rd Generation

Other iOS
– iOS 6 Beta Guide (PDF)
– Installing Apple TV Software (PDF)

Safari 6
– Consumer: Safari 6 Developer Preview for Lion, Uninstaller

The amazing thing is that the support for iPad 1 hasn’t been made in these links and the iPhone 3GS have been shown in the download links that is very strange. Still it is unclear whether the lists of download links are authentic or not.

This will be told by Apple tomorrow at WWDC 12.

iPad Baseband Downgrade For iPhone 3G/3GS Around The Corner

This Sunday is going to be a real Funday for people owning an iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G stuck on iPad baseband. If you people remember, we told you few years back that the iPad baseband would be downgraded some time and still no eta was announced for it. We also showed you the Tweet from @Sherif_Hashim regarding the iPad baseband Downgrade in progress. At that time, we all were expecting the release of this downgrade method with every new released of the Jailbreak and update of Ultrasn0w. Still we never saw the iPad baseband coming to light. Our hopes were left in the dark with a small “?” mark left behind for iPad baseband downgrade.

Finally, today @MuscleNerd, the Dev-Team member Tweeted on his Twitter account that they have made a significant process in downgrading the iPad Baseband on iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G users.

ipad-baseband-downgrade

Made great progress yesterday on downgrade from BB 06.15 (for 3G/3GS owners who got officially unlocked). All the pieces are there :)

— MuscleNerd (@MuscleNerd) June 10, 2012

Many of you won’t know why the iPad baseband was released for the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G. To make the entire story in short, the iPad baseband was introduced to unlock iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G on iOS 4.1+ basebands. There was no unlock for new basebands on iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G onwards from iOS 4.1.  The problem with iPad baseband is that people loose their GPS, face battery drainage issues, and notification don’t works on iPad baseband.

Finally we have heard a great news for people waiting for the freedom from iPad baseband 6.15.00 on iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G. The plans for the Dev-Team are to downgrade the iPad baseband 6.15.00 to 5.13.02 baseband, so people can get their official Unlock by Ultrasn0w and get back their Navigation and push notifications.

Till now there is no eta for the release of this Method. We assume that the iPad baseband downgrade will come some time this week or the next. How many of you are excited after hearing this news?

How to Root Samsung Galaxy SIII i9300 with CF-Root Tool (Windows)

After getting inspired from iOS Jailbreak, Android started to get rooted. Although, Android doesn’t needs to get rooted like iOS because Android is more friendly in changing the themes, adding add-ons and every other thing that iOS requires after Jailbreak Android have that. It is said that Android is compatible with third party Apps and one owning an Android Device can easily install third party software’s easily. One can easily customize Android without any hustle or difficulty. Still there are some things, some features that a user cannot access or want to change the way he/she wants it to be and cannot do it due to some restrictions based on Android.

To remove those restrictions, people go for rooting their phone. Rooting an Android can provide a special invitation to hackers. Malware, and Viruses to attack your phone easily because your Root access is easy. And any third party unknown source app, add-on, tweak, widgets, or anything could get you in trouble. But, you can be secured by using any good antivirus from Play Market to secure our Device and refrain from installing things from unreliable sources.

Like we talked about Rooting, most of you would think that Rooting is very difficult and hard to do. If you are thinking that way, then you are wrong. These days, this CF-Root Tool is on the verge for Rooting Android Smart Phones and it is the easiest tool that a greenhorn can use to Root his Android Device. Even that greenhorn can Root his Samsung Galaxy SIII without any hustle. The rooting of Android Smart Phones couldn’t be easy without this CF-Root Tool. Especially the revised version of this tool released by Chainfire at XDA Developers made it easier to Root Android Smart Phones.

Now lets move for the process of rooting your Samsung Galaxy SIII.

Before we proceed on, make sure that you have the Phone with the following information.

Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-i9300.

You can check this by going into Settings>About Phone. Over there you will see a screen like this one as shown below:

If you have the same model number, you are ready to go. If you got a model number different from GT-I9300, then you cannot proceed on with this guide. You will have to wait for some other update.

What things you need to download?

You need to download the following things

  1. Odin-v1.8.5 (Direct Download)
  2. CF-Root-SGS3 (Direct Download)

Root your Samsung Galaxy SIII How To:

Step 1:

Download the above files and extract them to your desktop.

Step 2:

Now run Odin and make sure that your Device is connected to the PC.

odin-root-tool

Step 3:

When Odin is opened, you will see many options. All you have to do is, go to the PDA Option as shown below and select the .tar file that you extracted in part 1.

pda-cf-tool

cf-root

Step 4:

Now comes the tricky part. In this part you need to put your Device in to recovery mode, so Odin can detect and start its work.

In order to do that, you have to first turn off the DEVICE and then follow the steps below:

Press down volume button+ home button+ power button simultaneously.

Step 5:

Now reconnect your Device to PC and make sure that the Re-Partition option is unchecked in Odin. Once everything is re checked, you are ready to press start. It will take about (thirty seconds) to Root Samsung Galaxy SIII.

start-cf-tool

Once the process is done. You will be Rooted on your Samsung Galaxy SIII.

The Team of TechGlued.Com has not yet tested this method and they won’t be responsible if anything goes wrong. Try it at your own risk.

We got an alternative way by which a user can get Paid Apps for Free without Rooting their Device. You can see that method from here.

Unlock iPhone 4S on Any Baseband using GEVEY All in One SIM (Video)

Since the evolution of Gevey SIM interposer for iPhone 4’s, unlock has been made easy for the basebands. If we talk about the official Unlock or any progress on it, we would like to take you about almost 3 years back when we saw the first Unlock for iPhone 4 on 1.59.00 baseband. That was/must be the happiest day of a person’s life owning an iPhone 4 on that Baseband. After that, when Apple pushed out a new iOS update making the baseband update and getting back the iPhone 4’s locked again. Those who refrained from unlock are still safe from Lock and are still unlocked on old baseband using Ultrasn0w happily.

Those unlucky people who updated to latest iOS at that time got unlucky and got locked on the new baseband that was 2.10.02. That must be a great shock for those who were updated at that time. Later on, we cam across many rumors about the unlock that it is coming day after, after one month or so, the days were passed using all of these sort of news. Amazingly a whole one-year without the Unlock passed away. That was really strange. Then luckily some one realized about Unlock and some company called GEVEY SIM came up with the solution of Unlock for iPhone 4 users up to 4.10.11 Baseband.

Unluckily, Apple has patched the GEVEY SIM Exploit in iOS 5 making the lock once again possible. Still now luck for people locked on new basebands on iPhone 4.

Later on, the time passed like a river and we came across iPhone 4S. The same story happened with iPhone 4S in the matter of Unlock. One again people were showed a hope that iPhone 4S can be unlocked, still no official unlock for iPhone 4S. Once again, GEVEY people (Unofficial ones) saved the ass of owners owning an iPhone 4S. I am also one of the users who got saved from the GEVEY people with the help of their GEVEY All in One SIM card for iPhone 4S.

gevey-unlock-baseband-iphone-4s

This GEVEY All in One SIM has nothing to do with the official GEVEY (ApplenBerry). This GEVEY SIM card people are different. Anyhow, the point is that, the GEVEY All in One works on iPhone 4S on any baseband. I can confirm this because I have tested and I am using it on my iPhone 4S without any issues. My iPhone 4S is locked to 02 U.K and Unlocked using this GEVEY All in ONE (No Cutting) SIM.

Here no SIM Cutting means that you don’t have to cut you SIM other than the original size that you cut for micro SIM Card.

For the proof, I have made a video of GEVEY All in One in action on iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1, having baseband 2.0.12.

See the video below in action:

 Video:

The method to make the SIM is easy. If you are willing to buy this Gevey All in One for your self, kindly head over here and see for the authorized reseller in your country. If you are from Pakistan, go to Contact Us section and contact me for this Gevey All in ONE for iPhone 4S.

The Future of iDevices iOS 6 Coming at WWDC 12 (Confirmed)

The time for the new revolution is almost around the corner and previously Apple had started to decorate Moscone Centre, the heart of their WWDC events. This year we with the general public are assuming a lot of new things by Apple on its upcoming WWDC 12. We cannot expect a launch of a new iPhone because Apple has changed their trend of launching the new series of iPhone since last year. At first they had announced iPhone 4 on WWDC, but from last year, they have taken the new launches to Fall with the release of new iOS versions.

Like the previous years WWDC 11, Apple released the series of iOS 5 for iPhone, iPod, and iPad. We are expecting the release of iOS 6 at this year WWDC 12. Instead, we should say that we are waiting for the first beta release of the iOS 6 at this year WWDC 12. Yes. The new version of iOS family, iOS 6 is on its way and is getting ready for its first Beta version for Developers at this year WWDC 12. We still don’t know about the features of the iOS 6, that what it has to offer us, but we are dead sure that iOS 6 is coming at this year WWDC 12, that is only few days away.

ios-6-wwdc-12

Like every year, people love to see Apple’s preparation for its Events and they want to see if they can get any hint or clue by which they can get a hint of next upcoming thing. Like this, Zacaltman, a normal Apple fan that went to Moscone Centre to view Apple’s WWDC 12 decoration got something really interesting. He spotted a banner of iOS 6 over there that confirms the launch of iOS 6 at this year WWDC 12. He shared the picture on his Instagram account, the same photo uploading website that was acquired by Facebook for some Million Dollars few months ago. You can get more details on WWDC 12 from here.

We are expecting a lot from this upcoming iOS 6. Even the banner of iOS 6 says something like most advanced operating system or something like that. It is unclear. The last wordings are a bit clear. Anyways, don’t forget that @Saurik, the creator of Cydia will also be attending this year WWDC 12.One more thing that we would like to mention is that the support of iOS 6 might drop off iPhone 3GS and iPod 3G. Like Apple did for iPhone 3G in the case of iOS 4.3. Apple dropped the support of iPhone 3G and iPod 2G after iOS 4.2.1.

How many of you are excited about the release of iOS 6? Do share your excitement with us.

You can be Next iOS Hacker by Helping Pod2g for his WWJC Speech Poll

Like last year, this year something great is coming towards you. An event in which you can double your chance to meet the Dev-Team and The Chronic-Dec Team, the real heroes behind the hard work of Jailbreak and different tools. This year, they all are going to come at one place called WWJC (World Wide Jailbreak Convention) that was previously called MyGreatFest. Many of you won’t be aware of this name because this happened in 2011’s fall where the creator of Cydia (Saurik) and the Chronic-Dev Team members (P0sixninja and iOPK) came for a speech. A part from them, many more developers of different platforms also came for a great speech.

This year, the iOS hackers of the Jailbreak community will be joining up at WWJC to perform different speeches. Last year the venue was in U.K and this year, guess what? The venue is coming to home land of Apple called San Francisco. The venue will be The South San Francisco Conference Center, where all the iOS hackers and iDevice lovers will meet face to face.

wwjc-jailbreak-con

To make this thing happen, @Jailbreakcon team is working hard to make it possible. Meanwhile, @pod3g, the French iOS hacker who worked on the iOS 5.1.1 Untethered Jailbreak for iPhone 4S, iPad 3, iPad 2 and A4 Devices with the dream team have setuped a poll on his blog regarding the topic of speech that you want him to talk about on this years WWJC. The topics are as follow:

History of jailbreaks and exploits since 2007
Bootrom / iBoot exploitation
Userland exploitation
Vulnerability research
Explanation of iOS security features in detail
Exploitation of common vulnerabilities
Other (tell me on twitter)

The topics are really interesting for the speech and you must be more interested in any one of these topics for the speech. The choice is yours. Vote for the best topic you like to hear about. Do keep in mind that this year WWJC will for sure bring some new iOS experts in the field. Someone out of you might be more interested in learning about iOS that he becomes the next member of the jailbreak community. You never know when you can get lucky. You can select the topic from here.

On the other hand the tickets for WWJC are on sale. Grab one for yourself now before they are sold. The date will be Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (PT). We will be going live for this year WWJC. You can book your WWJC tickets from here now.
