  • A5X and A5 Jailbreak for iOS 5.1 in Releasing Stage

A5X and A5 Jailbreak for iOS 5.1 in Releasing Stage

@Pod2g the member of the Chronic Dev-Team actively working on the Jailbreak of iOS 5.1 previously told that the ASLR issue needs to be sorted out the day before and today he Tweeted that he have sorted the ASLR issue. Now time to ROP the playload. This means that he is almost done with the Jailbreak for iOS 5.1 and only last step is remaining which is to compile the Jailbreak for iOS 5.1 in a tool with some final testing.

Once this thing has been done by him, then we expect that he will do some internal final testing and then he will release the Jailbreak of iOS 5.1 for Public. The Jailbreak will be for iPad 3, iPad 2, iPhone 4S and older Devices running iOS 5.1. If you haven’t updated to iOS 5.1, still stay away from it and wait for a proper sign to update it. Unlockers should stay away from every kind of new updates of iOS.

Now it seems that the Jailbreak is only few days away. Once he is done with the Jailbreak for iOS 5.1, it will be out in wild.

  • iOS 5.1 Jailbreak Exploits in Hand of Pod2g, Release Around the Corner

iOS 5.1 Jailbreak Exploits in Hand of Pod2g, Release Around the Corner

Today @Pod2g announced some progress on the long awaited jailbreak for iOS 5.1. He announced on his Twitter account that he has all the exploits for the Jailbreak in his hand and he is working on by passing the ASLR on boot up.

News: we have all exploits required to do a new jailbreak. I’m working on bypassing ASLR at bootup.

Pod2g is the member of the Chronic Dev Team merged with all the other hackers to perform the Dream Team to work on the Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 on iPhone 4S and iPad 2 in past. This time, when the iPad 3 was released, the Dream Team members showed off the untethered jailbreak for the New iPad and no eta was given so far. Still no eta has been provided by @Pod2g for the Jailbreak. Instead he gave a clue that he is actively working on bypassing ASLR at Bootup.

Those of you don’t know about ASLR, So ASLR is Address Space Layout Randomization is a form of data security used to randomize data on the RAM to help prevent exploits from taking control of the system. It first appeared in iOS 4.3.

This is a great news for all those waiting for the Jailbreak of iPad 3 and older Devices. They will soon be seeing the dream come true. We think that this might not take long because they got all the exploits in their hand and a small portion is needed to be worked on. The release might be this month of the next month of the Jailbreak of iOS 5.1.

  • iTunes 11 with iOS 6 is Being tested Under The Hood By Apple

iTunes 11 with iOS 6 is Being tested Under The Hood By Apple

The revolution of iTunes with iOS has started to emerge internally by Apple. Like every fresh update of iOS and iTunes, this time we will be seeing an unpredicted iOS version called iOS 6 and modern iTunes version called iTunes 11. iOS 6 is believed to be a major update by Apple for its iDevices, whereas iTunes 11 will go under plastic surgery, and we will be seeing an unknown interface of iTunes 11 with some new and great features. One feature of iTunes 11 is said to be iCloud integration with iTunes 11. The main reason behind releasing the new version of iTunes 11 is said to be the support of iOS 6. Apple always releases a new version of iTunes for its new iOS version with new iPhone.

The news arrives from a 9to5mac reliable source that has got their hands-on iTunes 11 Beta version. The source claims that we might see another iTunes 10. X release as a simple compatibility of iOS 6.

Apple has planned for the deeper integration of iCloud within iTunes 11.0, which means that they are planning to set up iCloud within the iTunes, so users can easily access their iCloud settings without downloading external setup for iCloud. This means that the iCloud panel would be placed into iTunes and the user would have complete access to the iCloud options within the iTunes. They could do a backup to iCloud and do their custom settings within iTunes.

  • Stride allows you to unlock your iPhone in an immaculate Way

Stride allows you to unlock your iPhone in an immaculate Way

Stride is a new tweak available on Jailbroken iDevices that allow you to unlock your iPhone screen in an innovative way. This Tweak has been made by the well-known Apple and Cydia developer called Adam Bell. Stride replaces the old fashioned numeric pass code lock with an 8-bit fashioned drawing for high security. Stride replaces the old-fashioned pass code lock screen with an innovative touch drawing pattern on which you can draw any number or alphabet and keep your custom password with the help of gestures. This Tweak is totally different and better than the Android’s 9-point field on which you have to draw a specific pattern. With this new Tweak, you can draw anything you want to on your iPhone or iPod. You can draw an image, letters, do signatures and much more.

See the promotional video of the Tweak below to have an idea about the Tweak.

    Video:

Stride is much safer than the present custom lock tweaks in Cydia. This Tweak was built with the safe backhand of Apple’s Pass-code security. In case you forget the pattern, you can still access your device using the pass code behind the Stride screen. For the best effect, you should use a PIN/PASS-CODE as it makes things extra secure and fun to use.

This awesome piece of hard work done by Adam Bell is present in Cydia for $2.99 under the repo of BigBoss.
