Sprint Salesman Insults a Customer over an iPhone Purchase (Reason)

The iPhone is grabbing some market share around the world and to stop it from achieving the target, the carriers are trying their level best to stop people from buying an iPhone. Different carriers are forcing the customers to buy a Galaxy S III or any other smart phone rather than an iPhone. This curios movement against the iPhone started few months ago when we reported about the first incident that happened with the iPhone’s. The incident was the removal of the iPhone’s from the shelves of different carriers against with its competitors and the store management asked the Sale’s staff to force the customer to buy another phone rather than the iPhone. If a customer forces to have an iPhone, simply say them that the iPhone is out of stock and they cannot do any thing about it.

However, today this activity of iPhone anti-buy program among different carriers was taken a completely new level. The initiative of this anti-iPhone purchase program was taken by Sprint whose Salesman clearly insulted the customer when he wanted to have an iPhone 4 as a free upgrade because he was eligible for the update. When the person asked the employee of Sprint to give him the free iPhone 4 that is out fashioned now, the Sprint Employee simply insulted the iPhone 4 by saying that the phone is “Sh*t” because it breaks too easily and it is small for too many users.

When the customer told the Sprint representative that he wanted to get an older iPhone 4 free as part of his upgrade, the representative called the device “a piece of s—” that breaks too easily and is too small for many users.

The sales person recommended the customer to go for a Samsung Galaxy S III because it is bigger than the iPhone 4. The customer simply refused. The refusal of the customer from buying a Galaxy S III made the Sales person to go further ahead on insulting the customer. The sales person in return said the customer that his fingers are fat to use an iPhone 4 and he needs a bigger display Smart Phone, so he can operate it accordingly.

The reason over this subsidiary sale of iPhone over its competitors is the higher profit margins that the carriers get from the companies by the end of quarter as noted by BGR. The carriers are paying more to their salesman on the sale of non-Apple Phone rather than the sale of any Apple iPhone. The tactics used by the salesman of different carriers may vary from time to time, but these tactics are not going to work on any Apple iPhone lover because if you don’t have an iPhone, so you don’t have an iPhone. Other than this, to insult a customer doesn’t make a boost in the sales of that smart phone.

By the end of the day, the customer is gone like this guy did or the reputation of carrier is blown away because “The Customer is always Right”.

  • Apple iPad Mini Retina 2013 Launch Speculated (Rumor)

Apple iPad Mini Retina 2013 Launch Speculated (Rumor)

It’s the time for the history to repeat for Apple Products and time for people to curse Apple for reinventing the products at a wrong time. Before buying an Apple product, we never wait for the new product because we know about the trend of Apple launch sequence of its products. Any new product doesn’t come before a year. This time, Apple changed the history and made a new trend in the Tech World by releasing iPad 4 along with iPad Mini in late October. The tech giant company wanted to beat the competition, that’s why they launched two new products simultaneously without even thinking about the preceding iPad 3.

This year, Apple didn’t wait for the year to be completed because they wanted to kick out Lightning Dock connector to the iPad series, so they released a new model of iPad 4 with Lightning Dock connector that the company introduced with iPhone 5. The fruit company didn’t only released the iPad 4, but also released a smaller version of the iPad called iPad Mini to replace the iPad 2 with no Retina Display. Before the iPad Mini was announced, expectations were that it might be a low-end retina Device, which later on turned out to be false. The iPad Mini never came with a retina display, indeed it came out with the same old iPad 2 Specifications.

This minor update in hardware and major in design couldn’t stop people from buying this small-sized tablet of 7.85-inch because they are in hope that Apple will release another update sometime next year in the same month of October for the iPad Mini. Incase you are buying iPad Mini keeping in mind about the newer version of the iPad Mini to arrive next year in the same month of October, then you are completely wrong. If you have already bought an iPad Mini on the holiday season, then get ready to kick your self because Apple may be planning to release an iPad Mini Retina Display version as early as next year in 2013.

    ipad_mini_retina_2013

The report of a newer display coming to the iPad Mini by Apple in 2013 comes from DigiTimes, who’s unnamed multiple sources in Taiwan Based Back-Lightning Industry reported about a high-resolution display to make its way for the iPad Mini. The high-resolution display will support 2058X1536 pixels with the traditional 326ppi resolution.

Other than these specifications, no more details were told by the sources.

If we put some weight on this rumor hypothetically, then we can say that the iPad Mini Retina version would be a killer and a game changer. Those of you have used iPad 3 or iPad 4 With Retina Display know better about the Retina Display on a big screen and how would it look like on the hand-sized tablet.

  • Galaxy Note III With 6.3-inch Display to Debut in 2013 (Rumor)

Galaxy Note III With 6.3-inch Display to Debut in 2013 (Rumor)

The trend of small sized screen smart phones has changed after the evolution of big screen sized cell phones. If we talk about larger displays, we can name Samsung as the first smart phone vendor to make a 4-inch and greater display smart phones in the mobile industry. Samsung introduced a 4-inch Display from Galaxy S Series and moved till 4.8-inch display regardless of the design or shape of the phone will look like. After wards, Samsung took the smart phone series to a completely new level by introducing Galaxy Note, that was not a Phone or Tablet, it was a Phablet instead.

Later on, Samsung keeping up with the competition, announced Galaxy S3 with a 4.8-inch display along with Galaxy Note II that carried a 5.5-inch display. The Galaxy Note II was some how called a smart phone because it had many features resembling to a phone and tablet. Samsung did combined all the features by introducing Galaxy Note II, but no one ever imagined about having a Phablet of 5.5-inch in their hands and using it like a Phone would make them look like a weirdo. If you haven’t realized about this fact or failed to realize that having a 5.5-inch smart phone is an art, then you would be more interested in knowing that Samsung is planning to release an upsize version of its Galaxy Note II with the name of Galaxy Note III.

    samsung_galaxy_note_iii_image

The news of this oversized smart phone comes The Korea Times stating that Samsung is reportedly planning to release an upsized version of Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Note III with a 6.3-inch OLED Display in 2013. In comparison with the current successor of Samsung, the Galaxy Note II packs a 5.5-inch display. Therefore, we can expect even a bigger Phablet version of 6.3-inch display by Samsung in 2013.

The idea of an enormous display might sound very good at this time, but to make this gigantic Phablet work will be a real test for Samsung because to power this large display Samsung would be requiring a better battery with amazing life. On other hand, Samsung will pack this Phablet with new amazing features such as LTE that will consume more battery than the preceding Galaxy Note Series.

Other than the features or specs, the main thing would be the enormous size of 6.3-inch that will be difficult to fit in people’s hand. The existing Galaxy S3 is of 4.8-inch and it is little bit difficult to carry in one hand.

Yet, it is too early to say anything about Samsung Galaxy Note III because Galaxy S4 is on the way by Samsung at C.E.S 2013.
