Samsung Galaxy S4 Exynos or Snapdragon Release Country Wise – Details

The release of Samsung Galaxy S4 is coming near and the confusion that is arising is about which variant of Galaxy S4 will arrive in selected countries. Will it be Exynos or Snapdragon?

On the eve of March 14 Samsung announced the future of Galaxy S series called Galaxy S4. Samsung only announced the tech specs and features of the Galaxy S4, where as no release date by variant along with price wasn’t told at the event. We don’t know about what Samsung was thinking at time because they only told that the arrival of Galaxy S4 should be expected by the end of April. Somehow, Galaxy S4 is being sold in limited countries before the official arrival month. The selling of Galaxy S4 before official arrival month is nothing new. It happens with every smart phone.

However, the main concern at this time is not to figure out how the selling of Galaxy S4 is being done prior to official release month. The main question that is ticking in the minds of Galaxy S4 buyers is about the variant of Galaxy S4 that will arrive in their country would be equipped with Exynos or Snapdragon. Over here, Samsung makes Exynos and QUALCOMM Chip manufacturers make Snapdragon. The best of all, Samsung Galaxy S4 uses both in different variants.

  • iOS 6.1.3 Debuts with Screen Flaw Fix, is Evasi0n Jailbreak fixed?

iOS 6.1.3 Debuts with Screen Flaw Fix, is Evasi0n Jailbreak fixed?

Apple released iOS 6.1.3 with bugs fixed, improved Maps for Japan, and did they patched Evasi0n Jailbreak?

Moments ago Apple released iOS 6.1.3 for public that patches the two popular screen security flaws that were reported back in iOS 6.1.2. In addition to patching of Screen Security Flaw in iOS 6.1.3, Apple has also made an improvement for the Maps of Japan as promised. The improvements made in Maps for Japan includes the following:

    ios_6.1.3_evasi0n_jailbreak

    • Improved pronunciation of roads during turn-by-turn navigation

    • Optimized directions to more strongly prefer highways over narrower roads

    • Now indicates upcoming toll roads during turn-by-turn navigation

    • Added labels for junctions, interchanges, on-ramps, off-ramps, and intersections

    • Added indicators for transit station buildings, subway lines, and traffic lights

    • Updated freeway color to green

    • Updated icons for some location categories including fire stations, hospitals, and post offices Added 3D buildings including Tokyo Station, Japan Imperial Palace, and Tokyo Tower

As far as the Evasi0n Jailbreak is concerned, it might be patched with this update because Wang in an interview with Forbes a month back told that Apple was able to find and patch the exploits that were used in Evasi0n Jailbreak for iOS 6. Apple patched not all the exploits, but Apple patched one or two of them and Evad3rs have many more exploits in hand to go with future Jailbreaks.

Therefore, the bottom line is that don’t update to the latest iOS 6.1.3 because there is no way coming back to iOS 6.1.2 on iPhone 5 and above iDevices. If you update it accidentally, then regret the accident. We would recommend staying away from this update.

  • Galaxy Altius Smart Watch Confirmed by Samsung to be in Works

Galaxy Altius Smart Watch Confirmed by Samsung to be in Works

Samsung has confirmed the arrival Galaxy Altius Smart Watch to compete with Apple on its forthcoming iWatch.

Back in February we reported about a strange rumor that suggested Samsung is planning to make a smart watch called Galaxy Altius to compete with Apple on rumored iWatch. At first the name of Galaxy Altius hinted towards the codename given to Galaxy S IV, but this was a rumor and nothing happened like this. Indeed the codename of Galaxy Altius stayed for the same Smart Watch by Samsung. However, later today Lee Young Hee, executive vice president of Samsung’s mobile business confirmed the previous rumor of Galaxy Altius Codenamed Smart Watch by Samsung is work in progress.

    galaxy_altius_watch

The confirmation of Galaxy Altius smart watch comes from an interview in Seoul of Lee Young Hee, executive vice president of Samsung’s mobile business stating:

“We are working very hard to get ready for it. We are preparing products for the future, and the watch is definitely one of them.”

This sudden jump from smart phone industry to smart watch industry by Samsung is questionable and strange because rumors strongly suggested that Apple is working on an iWatch that will debut within nine months and suddenly Samsung appeared on the scene from no where pointing out the release of smart watch by it soon. The height of rumor Fan following by Samsung related to Apple products has increased suddenly. The iWatch is still a semi-confirmed rumor and Samsung has confirmed the smart watch is being worked on.

However, when Bloomberg asked Lee about the arrival, specifications, and features of the Galaxy Altius Smart Watch, Lee opted to stay quite.

As of now only the arrival of Galaxy Altius is confirmed with no further details. All we know about the Galaxy Altius is that it will have a 500X500 display that was confirmed by the spy shots that were leaked prior month and it will feature the capability of GSM as well.

Now the ball is in the court of Samsung and Apple both because the first one to release the Smart Watch will win the game. The situation of Smart Watch release is like a Football match stuck on penalty shootouts with equal score. The first one to score on the target wins the game.

After the unveiling of Galaxy S4 on March 14 by Samsung, Cyber Criminals have a way to hack Facebook ids and trap people into a fake give away. All credit goes to Samsung’ Galaxy S4 that made the headlines on March 14 because of its new and unique features that Samsung has introduced in it. Samsung fans around the globe cannot wait to get their hands on the unreleased smart phone and on the other hand scammers on Facebook in the name of Galaxy S4 Give Away by Samsung are scamming the same fans.

Just imagine, one day you wake up, log on Facebook and see that Samsung has 5,000 units of Galaxy S4 in a give away, what will be your reaction? You will do everything to enter in the contest and make sure that you are the lucky one to get one unit out of 5,000 units available. How happy you would be after doing that without realizing that you are being scammed and you are putting your account at risk. By the end of the day, you would be happy that you participated in the contest of Samsung Galaxy S4 Giveaway on Facebook.

The best thing about this fake giveaway is that the cyber criminals are using alleged concept images of Galaxy S4, where as the original image of Galaxy S4 is as follows:

galaxy s iv features in galaxy s iii

This fake giveaway of Samsung Galaxy S4 on Facebook by Samsung sounds very interesting because Samsung hasn’t gone mad that it will spend $4.5 Million on the giveaway of latest Galaxy S Flagship rather than selling the Smart Phones Globally. All we need to say is that stay away from these sorts of giveaways that are not verified or are using fake images of the smart phone. Once in a lifetime use your brain to sort out these sorts of giveaways and don’t start jumping after seeing these sorts of giveaways on Facebook.

  • Samsung Orb to Debut in Android Lime 5.0 for Galaxy S IV

Samsung Orb to Debut in Android Lime 5.0 for Galaxy S IV

Samsung Orb feature is said to be coming in Android Lime 5.0 by the Korean Company soon.

The long rumored feature of Samsung Orb was expected to make an appearance at March 14 on Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 1, but unfortunately we didn’t saw the arrival of Samsung Orb on the Media Event. Samsung announced Galaxy S IV with tons of new features and missed out this Samsung Orb feature in the Galaxy S IV. Before Samsung could take the stage to take clothes off its new Flagship, rumors and confirmations were flying in that Samsung will announce Samsung Orb feature in Galaxy S IV that will replace Google’s Photosphere feature in Android 4.2. Google’s Photosphere is a feature by which you can capture 360-degree panoramas with three-dimensional viewing experience.

    samsung orb android lime 5.0

Over here, Samsung Orb is said to be delivering the same function of capturing 360-degree panorama pictures, but in a different way. We can say that Samsung Orb will be an alternative to Google’s Photosphere for Samsung’s users. In addition to 360-degree panorama picture capturing, it was also rumored that Samsung Orb will use Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ Social Media Integration to share the pictures instantly. However, Samsung Orb failed to make its appearance in Galaxy S IV. The reason is unknown. All we know is that Samsung Orb feature made the headlines before Galaxy S IV could.

Other than the news of Samsung Orb, we are also hearing that Samsung has planned to jump on Android Lime 5.0. In other words, Samsung is planning to announce Android Lime 5.0 in which this feature of Samsung Orb is expected to make an appearance. The reports of Android lime 5.0 are skeptical because Samsung has planned to ditch Android over its own OS called Tizen.

  • Samsung to Add Galaxy S IV Features in Galaxy S III with an Update

Samsung to Add Galaxy S IV Features in Galaxy S III with an Update

Samsung has planned to add Galaxy S IV features in Galaxy S III with an update most probably.

Today Samsung took the clothes off its next Galaxy S Flagship and demoed tons of new features that the Korean company has added to its new flagship. The Korean company unveiled its new Flagship at Times Square New York. This new Flagship of Samsung, Galaxy S IV is packed with a large display of 5-inch Super AMOLED Display, 441ppi, 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, and much more. In short we can say that the leaked specifications were correct about Galaxy S IV. Every specification details by Samsung on this media event matches the leaked specifications prior to official announcement.

The only specification that contradicted is of the Android OS. The leaked version of Android OS in Galaxy S IV pointed out towards OS 4.2.1, where as Galaxy S IV will be packed with OS 4.2.2 that will be packed with all the amazing features that Samsung demoed today. However, the good news is that Samsung has planned to port these features into its preceding Flagship of Galaxy S III with a software update.

galaxy s iv features in galaxy s iii

The confirmation report comes from PCMag who were able to speak with Nick DiCarlo, Samsung’s vice president of portfolio planning, at the event. According to DiCarlo, many of the software improvements made in Galaxy S IV could arrive in existing Galaxy S III phones.

“Anything that we can do that’s not dependent on hardware like infrared, we’ll definitely bring to all the flagship devices,” he said.

The features that we should expect to arrive in Galaxy S III with software are Samsung Smart Scroll, Samsung Smart Pause, Air Gesture, Air View, Group Play, Powerful camera experience like effects, and few more things that will be built in OS 4.2.2.

This is good news and a bad news as well. This a good news for Samsung Galaxy S III owners that they will get all these features without buying the new version and Bad news or decision made by Samsung because people will not buy Galaxy S IV, instead they will go for Galaxy S III. Therefore, Samsung will pull back some Android OS 4.2.2 Galaxy S IV features and will not include them for Galaxy S III. If they provide all the features in Galaxy S III as of Galaxy S IV, then they will lose the market share for sure.
