Apple’s Phil Schiller Open Fires at Galaxy S IV on its Unveiling Eve

Apple’s senior vice president of marketing – Phil Schiller attacked Samsung in an interview, few hours before the Galaxy S IV unveiling today.

The war between these tech giants has reached at personal level. Today in an interview with Forbes, Apple’s vice president of marketing Phil Schiller criticized Samsung for unveiling its Galaxy S IV Flagship with a year old OS that is Android’s Jelly bean and further claimed that Samsung needs to update the OS for its new flagship. “We are hearing this week that the Samsung Galaxy S4 is being rumored to ship with an OS that is nearly a year old,” Schiller criticized. “Customers will have to wait to get an update.”

Schiller appreciating Apple said that Apple has been doing regular updates and today more than 50% of its users are updated on the latest iOS Version that is iOS 6. According to Schiller, Apple has released the most advanced iOS that is much preferable over Android’s Jelly Bean by users around the globe. In his statement he added that Android users would need to wait to get an update because Galaxy S IV will be packed with 4.2.1 OS Jelly Bean. • LG Picks on Samsung Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy Teaser at Times Square

LG Picks on Samsung Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy Teaser at Times Square

Until today the Times Square in New York might be looking good because there was only one teaser banner was ruling the streets. The teaser banner was not other than Samsung. Samsung upswing the teaser banner of Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy Few days back to create an awareness for the upcoming Galaxy S IV that is today March 14. But later today, a small mobile company LG raised its banner above Samsung’s billboard to make fun of the upcoming Galaxy S IV teaser.

The electronic billboard placed by LG uses the same numeric 4 as of Samsung has used and have promoted their smart phone called LG Optimus G.

The electronic billboard of LG says:

“LG Optimus G is here 4 you Now”, where as Samsung’s Billboard states, “Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy.”

This is indeed a smart move made by LG to pick on Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S IV, but Samsung has its own target market. The Korean company has planned to sell 50 million Galaxy S IV units this year with 1 million to be sold as soon as the Smart Phone is launched. There is no doubt that Samsung can sell the Galaxy S IV up to these figures because Galaxy S IV will be giving a tough competition to its competitors in the market. • The Secrecy Behind Oreo Cookie in Latest Samsung Unpacked Teaser Revealed

The Secrecy Behind Oreo Cookie in Latest Samsung Unpacked Teaser Revealed

The day before yesterday Samsung teased another Unpacked 2013 Video teaser in which the same messenger named Jeremy was shown with the same Box of Unpacked 2013 sticker on it. His father in the first episode of the Unpacked 2013 teaser gave the box to Jeremy while he visits the office. When Jeremy arrives in the office, he is very much excited to see the box and says, “Is that it.” After that he insists his dad for a one little peek inside the box and his dad allows him to see what’s inside the box. When the box is opened, only few rays were shown coming out of the box and nothing more.

Then in the second episode of Samsung Unpacked 2013, Jeremy the secret messenger of the event was shown again with the box, but this time in different style. In the second episode of Unpacked 2013, Jeremy opens the box while eating Oreo Cookies and saying that the colors present in the box are his two favorite colors. Over here, Samsung showed two sides of the Oreo Cookie that are the backside and inner side separated from each other.

    samsung unpacked teaser oreo cookie

As you can see in the above image that Jeremy is holding the backside of Oreo Cookie in right hand, where as the other part is in his left hand that is showing the inner side of the Oreo Cookie, which is filled with white cream.

What Does Oreo Cookie has to Do With This Unpacked 2013 Teaser?

When the second video teaser of Unpacked 2013 was released, we told you about the relation of Oreo Cookies with upcoming variation of Color Scheme in Galaxy S IV. We told you that Samsung has planned to release Galaxy S IV in two color variants that are black and white, but in today’s Galaxy S IV Hands on video, the color scheme showed by the person and image teased by Samsung showed the same old color. However, the color teased by Samsung was Pebble blue and the color Shown in the Galaxy S IV hands on was Black with White Back.

The Galaxy S IV Hands on Video puts more weight on our preceding report of the arrival of Galaxy S IV with a redesigned back with black and white dots. The video clearly showed the front color was black and the backside of the Galaxy S IV was redesigned with black and white dots portraying the color Grey.

Therefore, we can conclude that Samsung will announce the Galaxy S IV in Pebble Blue and Marble White Color or this time Samsung can go with the Black Color for Galaxy S IV. At the time of Galaxy S III, Samsung announced Pebble Blue and Marble White Colors initially. Later on the Galaxy S III was accompanied by several different colors starting from Red, Brown, Black and few more.

Yet not need to worry about the color scheme because everything would be in black and white in a day because Samsung will unveil Galaxy S IV on March 14 at Times Square, New York.

  • Samsung Officially Teases Galaxy S4 Image After Leaked Video – Image

Samsung Officially Teases Galaxy S4 Image After Leaked Video – Image

Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy Secret finally revealed by Samsung ahead of official unveiling on March 14. Today Samsung USA on its official Twitter account tweeted a picture with black background and possible Galaxy S4 showing the top left corner with the name of Samsung. The picture teased by Samsung USA on its twitter account clearly shows a glance of Samsung Galaxy S4 that was leaked few hours back in hands on video made by a user of a Chinese Forum. The image teased by Samsung USA and the model shown in Galaxy S4 Hands on Video is almost the same.

The only difference between both of them is that the Galaxy S4 was shown at full in hands on video, where as in this image, Samsung has kept the rest part hidden and has only shown the top right corner of the upcoming flagship. As far as the design is concerned, it is the same as of the video model.

    samsung_galaxy_s4_image

The story doesn’t ends on a glance of Galaxy S4 by Samsung or on the Galaxy S4 hands on video. In fact, Samsung has made us go in a doubt that the upcoming Galaxy might not be Galaxy S4; indeed it can be Galaxy Note III. The design and size of the upcoming Galaxy is 4.99-inch that makes it a Phablet rather than a Smart Phone. We all know that Samsung loves to make Phablets.

At this moment, we are skeptical about the release of Galaxy Note III because Samsung released Galaxy Note II few months back. Therefore, we shouldn’t expect the arrival of Galaxy Note III this early.

However, one thing that is not pleasing us is the name of the upcoming Galaxy Flagship that is Galaxy S4. The reason behind this is that the number 4 is unlucky in South Korea and how come Samsung can name the Smart Phone as Galaxy S4. If they name it Galaxy S4, then they might run into trouble in South Korea. On a serious note, Samsung changed the model number of Galaxy S4 from GT-I9400 to GT-I9500 or GT-I9502 because of the number 4.

All we need to do is just wait and see the unveiling of Galaxy S4. Then only we will come to know about what name does Samsung comes up with. the affirmed name is Galaxy S4 because Samsung has been heavily advertising about “Be Ready 4 the Next Galaxy.”
