Promenade Temecula Apple Store Shattered by Car, iTheif Stole Goods

Today seems to be a bad day for Apple Stores. Early today we told you about the visit of Flood at Shanghai Apple Store and now we came across another sad news regarding the Promenade Temecula Apple Store that was shattered by a car to steal good amount of iDevices from the Retail Store. The Apple Store located in Promenade Temecula, California was visited by some crash and affect robbers who broke into Apple Store after hitting the front glass of the Apple Store with a car. • Shanghai Apple Store Briefly Closed after Flood Opted to Pay a Visit

Shanghai Apple Store Briefly Closed after Flood Opted to Pay a Visit

Who doesn’t likes Apple products? Every one is in love with Apple products. After being inspired by the great amount of love today, Flood thought to pay a visit to the Apple’s Flagship Store in Shanghai and make some purchases. Unfortunately, when Flood entered the Apple Store, the store was closed temporarily. This sounds rude. Isn’t it? The store was closed due to the mess created by Flood in the Apple Store. The Flood entered from the ceiling of the roofs, rather than entering from the front door of the Apple Store. The wrong entrance of Flood in the Apple Store made the employees cover all the things belonging into that particular, so they could be kept safe from any damage.

This awesome news about Flood visiting Apple’s Flagship Store in Shanghai, China was shared by Dan with 9to5mac stating,

Big flood in their flagship Shanghai, China store located in the Pudong district of Shanghai…unfortunately, they were not allowing the public to take pictures so i wasn’t able “sneak in” too many pictures but i’ve attached a short video and couple pics.

When I arrived, they had already blocked off the area where it was flooding and tried to control it by putting bins underneath to catch the water.  They covered surrounding iPads/Macs with plastic cover.  Unclear as to how much damage occurred.

As Dan told in his statement above that Apple Store’s affected area was closed and it wasn’t clear about how much damages was caused due to flood. On a short note, he was able to make a very short video of the flood in action.

    Shanghai Apple Store Flood Video:

The video is not long because he wasn’t able to make the video properly. The purpose of this video is to show you the flood coming in the Shanghai Apple Store from the ceilings. Don’t forget to see the above ceilings from which the flood is coming in the Shanghai Apple Store.

  • Leaked iPad Mini Rear Casing Sold for $6000, Cases on Sale

Leaked iPad Mini Rear Casing Sold for $6000, Cases on Sale

Foxconn, the product manufacturer of Apple in China is keeping a low hand on the security of upcoming Apple products. As the announcement of new products is getting closer, the leaks are getting an increment day by day. Following the preceding leaks of the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini, today a Chinese Tech Website reported about the iPad Mini Rear Shell leaked out of Foxconn. The Rear Shell that was leaked was made of finest quality material and the rear shell has come from a topnotch factory. At first, the person who got hands on the iPad Mini Rear Shell wasn’t aware of the fact that he has the most anticipated device’s rear shell in his hand.

He took some snapshots of the leaked Rear Shell and found out about the rear shell was linked to Apple’s upcoming iPad Mini. After finding out the fact behind the rear shell, the person shared some clicks on the website of that real shell.

As shown in the picture above, the quality of the iPad Mini Real Shell is same as of the finishing one. The quality of the iPad Mini rear shell is much better and realistic than the previous leaked versions. However, the iPad Mini Rear Shell points the same thing that we have seen in the iPhone 5’s back end leaked shell. Both the Devices carry the same dock connector and the same speaker grill. The only difference of size is in grills in both.

    ipad_mini_backend_shell

The iPad Mini rear shell compared with iPad 2 points the size of iPad Mini to be smaller. The size might be of 7-inch as previous reports have reported about a smaller tablet will be released by Apple this fall. One thing is interesting that Apple has allotted a camera in the iPad Mini as we can see in the above leaked photo. We expect the camera in iPad Mini would be of 5 Mega Pixel or 8 Mega Pixel.

    The story doesn’t ends here.

There is one more thing that needs to figured out and asked by all of you.

How was the iPad Mini case leaked out Foxconn?

The iPad Mini is the product of a tech giant Company, Apple without any doubt. This anticipated Device would be unveiled on the right time and right spot by Apple. Therefore, how did the case managed to get out of the Foxconn factory. Did it got feets and hands to do a sprint or do high jump and escape because it is an Apple product.

Luckily, there is a great story behind the leak that has been covered by MIC Gadget. The sources of MIC Gadget told them about how the iPad Mini Case was leaked out of Foxconn Factory. Here is how all happened.

According to our sources, there’s a story behind this leak. Apparently, there’s an iPad mini rear shell leaked out of Foxconn factory lately, thanks to a brave Foxconn worker. He/she took the iPad mini rear shell and looked for buyers, and he/she was selling it for 38,000 RMB (about $5988).

The story starts with a Foxconn employee who took out the iPad Mini Rear Shell from the factory to make some bucks. The rear shell was then sold for 38,000 RMB ($59,988) to some Chinese Case Manufacturer.

After having hands on the leaked case of iPad Mini, the case manufacturers in Shenzhen, China started to make the iPad Mini Cases according to the leaked rear case. After making the iPad Mini case, the back cases were putted on sale on online website called Taobao (identical to EBay). The initial price of the iPad Mini case is 5 Chinese Yuan ($0.80).

Below are some images of the iPad Mini Cases:

  • Samsung Ousted iPhone 4S by Selling 20 Million Galaxy S III Worldwide

May 3 it was, the boomed series of Galaxy by Samsung got some new entries introducing the Galaxy S III. Samsung’s Galaxy S2 has been working awesome in he market competing other mobile devices by Samsung. We still remember when Galaxy S2 sold quickly worldwide the companies was tensed with the Korean company’s performance in the mobile industry. The sales of Samsung Galaxy S2 reached almost with the iPhone 4’s which was completely shocking for Apple but today Samsung has announced another shock-able news for the Cupertino company after making a record of 20 Million S III’s sold in 100 days that’s after the release of Samsung Galaxy S III.

Samsung is now getting tough on the mobile market which is dangerous rather an attack on the companies straight forward and Apple may be the first one if they release an iPhone with no new and advanced/heart throbbing feature. After outstanding Apple, Samsung will be ruling in the mobile market completely because Nokia is still down the mountain and Apple may fall straight away from the top heels.

    Samsung’s CEO JK Shin said

The Galaxy S III has enjoyed tremendous attention and popularity since its launch in May, and we are thrilled with its success.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to customers who have chosen the Galaxy S III. We will never stop providing the latest smart mobile technologies to help users live a life extraordinary.

Apple still wins to dig the flagships out of the America but has to pass through a bad news in the America as except AT&T, Samsung Galaxy S III has ousted Apple iPhone 4S in Verizon Wireless, Sprint and T-Mobile as a best selling mobile device.  Analyst Michael Walkley reported about the reports achieved by the carrier companies about the best selling device from June comparing until the August of 2012.

    Galaxy_S3_Ousted_iPhone_4S

When the iPhone 4S was launched in 2011, Apple sold about four million units in just three days by making a new record that has beaten by Samsung now. The iPhone 4S was launched back in 2011 and Samsung unveiled its Galaxy S3 flagship on May 3, 2012. Therefore, the real competition is going to start when the iPhone 5 gets unveiled and Galaxy S3 sales are putted on shame, Apple we are waiting for your killer step.

  • AntiSec Attacks Apple, 12 Million User’s Data On Risk

AntiSec Attacks Apple, 12 Million User’s Data On Risk

AntiSec’s, a cool group of hackers are back. Well this time the news is tough and competitive for the Cupertino Company. The story which started in March has came to bring a lot of competition to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Apple Inc. Yesterday’s night brought a large text file on Pastebin by Antisec’s which contained a long story of they did occasionally. Well the Antisec actually has released a Million user’s data publicly of iPhone’s UDID, Usernames, Addresses, Phone Numbers, Zip Code and Push Notifications Token.

They personally claim that they have got hands over 12 Million user’s information using iPhone but they thought of releasing on a Million’s information. They have claimed that they got there hands on the data from one of the FBI officer.

During the second week of March 2012, a Dell Vostro notebook, used by Supervisor Special Agent Christopher K. Stangl from FBI Regional Cyber Action Team and New York FBI Office Evidence Response Team was breached using the AtomicReferenceArray vulnerability on Java, during the shell session some files were downloaded from his Desktop folder one of them with the name of “NCFTA_iOS_devices_intel.csv” turned to be a list of 12,367,232 Apple iOS devices including Unique Device Identifiers (UDID), user names, name of device, type of device, Apple Push Notification Service tokens, zipcodes, cellphone numbers, addresses, etc. the personal details fields referring to people appears many times empty leaving the whole list incompleted on many parts. no other file on the same folder makes mention about this list or its purpose.

    Antisec

“NCFTA_iOS_devices_intel.csv” is the file name achieved by Antisec’s from the FBI laptop. Jay Freeman right after reported that he has only recognized 16.7% of the iPhone UDID’s data is released which are running Cydia.

I run Cydia, and have determined only 16.7% of the UDIDs in that file are from jailbroken devices: I thereby do not believe that whatever managed to get this data is anywhere in our ecosystem.

Apple after this issue reported that they have not personally provided the information to FBI either they didn’t ask for it yet.

“The FBI has not requested this information from Apple, nor have we provided it to the FBI or any organization. Additionally, with iOS 6 we introduced a new set of APIs meant to replace the use of the UDID and will soon be banning the use of UDID,” Apple spokesperson Natalie Kerris told AllThingsD.

FBI personally reported on Twitter that the news rumouring about the FBI Laptop is ‘TOTALLY FALSE’.

    AllThingsD right after reported

The FBI is aware of published reports alleging that an FBI laptop was compromised and private data regarding Apple UDIDs was exposed. At this time there is no evidence indicating that an FBI laptop was compromised or that the FBI either sought or obtained this data.

Antisec has promised to release more information regarding this hack but they kept a bet regarding to materialize a journalist who has been reporting about Antisec from last 3 years, Adrian Chen. Antisec demanded him to wear a ‘pink tutu and shoe on the head’ and keep his picture published on ‘Gawker.com’ for 24 hours.

to journalists: no more interviews to anyone till Adrian Chen get featured in
the front page of Gawker, a whole day, with a huge picture of him dressing a
ballet tutu and shoe on the head, no photoshop. yeah, man. like Keith
    Alexander. go, go, go.
(and there you ll get your desired pageviews number too) Until that happens,
this whole statement will be the only thing getting out
directly from us. So no tutu, no sources.

    Adrian_Chen

So the demand by Antisec has been completed and yet he haven’t got any news by the hackers home. Apple should take this issue seriously, ignoring the issue by reporting no fault of each other won’t clear the case as yet Apple hasn’t apologized to there users plus how will Apple recover the data which is out of the hood now ? FBI now is clear from the scene, making Apple and Antisec remaining alone on the sets. We have to see a quick and a smart move by Apple or else the users are going to be completely off from the Apples product because getting the information rather personal information isn’t a joke.

  • iPhone 4S 8GB to Replace iPhone 3GS on September 12 (Rumor)

iPhone 4S 8GB to Replace iPhone 3GS on September 12 (Rumor)

Apple is going to kick out the iPhone 3GS from the iPhone lineup on September 12 by introducing iPhone 4S 8GB Model with iPhone 5. The iPhone 4S 8GB Model will take the place of iPhone 4 8GB and the iPhone 4 8GB would take the place of iPhone 3GS 8GB Model. The prices of the iPhone’s would be relatively different. As for now, the iPhone 3GS is sold free with a two-year contract and iPhone 4 8GB is $100 on contract, and the iPhone 4S 16GB is sold for $149 on contract. Therefore, after the introduction of iPhone 5 next week, it is highly expected by Telegraph sources that Apple might announce an 8GB Model of iPhone 4S.

The iPhone 3GS was announced back in June 2009 at WWDC. Soon after the announcement of iPhone 3GS, when it got on sale, it became the best selling iPhone in the history of Apple. In the first week of launch, iPhone 3GS made a record of million units sold in a week. It has been three years since the iPhone 3GS was launched and it is still being used by many people around the globe. However, the iPhone 3GS being too old cannot stay up to date with latest features that Apple needs to introduce in near future to keep up with the technology. That’s why Apple has planned to finish the iPhone 3GS of the market and introduce a low capacity iPhone.

    iphone_3GS_4S

The news of iPhone 3GS going to end seems to be legit because Apple did the same with iPhone 3G series. When Apple announced iPhone 4, it had two iDevices rolling out previously, the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. After the introduction of iPhone 4, Apple had three iDevices available for sale. Then after some time, Apple introduced iPhone 3GS 8GB by discontinuing the iPhone 3G Models. After a year, Apple announced iPhone 4 8GB Model on its “Lets Talk iPhone” event where they also announced a new member of iPhone family called iPhone 4S.

With the introduction of iPhone 4S, it seemed that Apple would discontinue iPhone 3GS line up. Unfortunately, nothing happened. Apple continued the iPhone 3GS line up for another one year.

This year, it is highly expected that iPhone 3GS would be taken of the shelves and following the previous launch tradition, Apple might unveil an iPhone 4S 8GB Model at $99.99 on contract by replacing the iPhone 4 8GB Model price. The news of iPhone 3GS diminishing gets more support from the preceding news from 9to5mac stating, Apple has ordered the Genius bar people to limit the stock of the iPhone 3GS and only few things can be repaired for the iPhone 3GS. This preceding news is a great hint towards the iPhone 4S 8GB Model.
