Apple Emancipated OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 Principal Update

Following the preceding releases of the OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 Developers build, finally this Thursday, 23 August 2012, Apple released the first ever update to its newly released OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 version. When the updated rolled out for public, it was highly predicted that this new update would bring the fix for the same old issue of Battery that has been much common in iPhone 4S after its launch last year. The OS X has no comparison with iOS, but people are reporting battery issues after updating to OS X Mountain Lion 10.8. Unfortunately, in this release of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1, the battery issues are not resolved.

Then what is resolved in this update?

This update of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 brings number of bugs fixed. The issues persisting with iMessages, Migration Assistant, playing audio through Thunder Bolt issue, and many more issues are addressed in this first update of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 update. The 10.8.1 update includes general operating system fixes that improve the stability and compatibility of your Mac, including fixes that:

• Resolve an issue that may cause Migration Assistant to unexpectedly quit
• Improve compatibility when connecting to a Microsoft Exchange server in Mail
• Address an issue playing audio through a Thunderbolt display
• Resolve an issue that prevents iMessages from being sent
• Resolve an issue when connecting to SMB servers with long names
• Address an issue that may cause the system to become unresponsive when using Pinyin input.

This principal update of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 addressed some of the above-mentioned issues by Apple. Somehow, the battery issues are still left in dark. We expect the issue to be resolved soon by Apple. In past Apple has never left anything dark, they have worked on the issue to resolve it by a software update mostly.

If we recall the iPhone 4S launch, it was speculated that the iPhone 4S has got some hardware problem related to battery. The battery on the iPhone 4S was draining like water. Then later on Apple fixed the issue with a software update. Moreover, the battery life seems to be improved more on iOS 6 beta 4.

It is highly expected that the battery life would be more improved in iOS 6 for the iDevices. Where as, we expect the battery issue for OS X Mountain Lion should be resolved with a new software update. Two new updates in a month for sure sounds weird. Nevertheless, issue is issue. To solve the issue, you have to release an update that can be one, two, three, or four in one month.

German Carrier Mobilcom Debitel Announced iPhone 5 September Launch

The September is only few weeks away and the iPhone 5 is gaining some Miami heat these days. The iPhone 5 is exceedingly rumored for the unveiling in September on a Media Event to be hosted by Apple. The dates have been confirmed by numerous sources regarding the iPhone 5 unveiling and the wait is for Apple to announce the event officially. Apple will not be going on with the announcement until 10 or fewer days are left for the Media Event. Apple loves to nudge every one at the last moment to get ready.

Before Apple plans on to nudge the people, Mobilecom Debitel has gained the lead from Apple. This German carrier has announced on their website that the iPhone 5 is scheduled for the September launch with a beautiful message in German that has been placed on their website. The message was conveyed by 9to5mac with the help of Google Translation stating something like this:

This time it seems that Apple is highly being nudged by exceeding rumors regarding the Media Event and leaked iPhone 5 parts that are surfacing since May on the Internet. The leaked parts and rumors regarding the upcoming iPhone 5 were not enough to nudge Apple because they know what is in production.

Contradiction Arises on Verizon Outage September 21 iPhone 5 Launch

With the speed of light, we have new news regarding the September 21 iPhone 5 Launch. The Verizon Employees are saying something else. They have created a contradiction with the previous report of iPhone 5 September 21 launch Blackout Holiday that came from TechCrunch stating a blackout has been planned to on the above-mentioned dates for the Verizon Employees ahead of the phone 5 launch.

In order to confirm the blackout, TechnoBuffalo straight away called few Verizon stores to see if the above-mentioned black out is right. Upon calling in different Verizon Stores, the response they got was something like this:

“Not that I’ve heard (laughs),” one employee told us. “Nobody told me not to,” another said.

The answer they got from the Verizon Wireless stores was a BIG “NO.”

After asking the stores, it seems that the employees are not aware of the blackout that is coming soon and they can go on leave if they want to. This new contradiction regarding the previous confirmation can lead to misconception among readers. In order to get out of the contradiction, we know that the iPhone 5 would be showing off on September 12. However, no such Media Event confirmation has been announced by Apple though. Still the dates are rock firm because different reliable sources have pointed out the same date.

If we take the blackout news a rumor, then we got another confirmation lined up from AT&T who has scheduled for a training session in mid of September till the first week of October due to something big is coming by Apple.

More confirmation arrives for the iPhone 5 September 21, Friday launch. This date of September 21 was previously speculated for the initial iPhone 5 launch in America by different carriers. This initial launch was believed to be of the first wave of the iPhone 5. The confirmation about the iPhone 5 September 21 launch comes from a Verizon Wireless Employee who told TechCrunch about a black out ordered by the Wireless company for the holidays of the employees following September 21 till September 30. Verizon Wireless will face a black out on the till the above-mentioned dates and employees will sent on some tough mission.

A trusted Verizon employee has just confirmed to TechCrunch that the carrier is having an all-staff vacation blackout from the dates of Friday, September 21 to September 30.

The Verizon Wireless Company has passed an internal memo that contains a notice of holidays being cancelled of the employees from September 21, Friday until September 30, Sunday. This whole one week and three days will be dedicated to the launch of iPhone 5.

However, the expectations are high for the confirmed launch date of September 12 and the same date for the iPhone 5 pre-ordering. Sounds cool, isn’t it?

Following the tradition of Apple’s last year iPhone 4S launch, the iPhone 4S was announced on October 4, the pre-orders started on October 7and the shipment started to take place after a week of the announcement on October 14. iPhone 5 Gets 3D Treatment With iPhone 4S and Galaxy S III Comparison

iLab today came up with some real time 3D comparison of the iPhone 5 with the preceding iPhone 4S and Samsung’s Flagship called Samsung Galaxy S III. The videos have been made in collaboration with 3D-labs. This new 3D comparison is totally based on the leaked parts of the iPhone 5 until now. We have seen many of the rumored leaked parts of the iPhone 5 suggesting a 4-inch screen with some changes in the design. We didn’t notice any major changes in the design of the iPhone 5, as it should be. The leaked parts just confirmed the previous rumors regarding the iPhone 5 that it will get an 8-pin dock connector and a reallocated head phone jack.

These things are not new in the market. We have hearing about all of these since preceding months. The confirmation that we have so far is about the 4-inch screen of the iPhone 5 so far. Rest we cannot count on because anything can change at the last minute. In other words, we don’t really know about what the Tech Giant is cooking in the house. All we smell is an addition of a new family member in the preceding family.

As you can see, in the video above that, the iPhone 5 is featured with a 4-inch large display and the iPhone 4S is having the same traditional 3.5-inch display. However, the video above is not very prominent in the case of iPhone 4S. They have shown iPhone 4S with an 8-pin connector and iPhone 5 with a large connector. The design of the iPhone 4S is very different from the real one.

After seeing the above comparison of iPhone 5 with Samsung Galaxy S III, we can clearly see that the iPhone 5 screen is smaller than of the Galaxy S III because Galaxy S III got a 4.8-inch screen and the rumored iPhone 5 screen size is 4-inch. The Galaxy S III has been released and the iPhone 5 is yet to be announced.
