  • Takashi Okuda: “iPhone 5 Display Shipments will start in August.”

Takashi Okuda: “iPhone 5 Display Shipments will start in August.”

Takashi Okuda, the president of Sharp LCD Manufacturer for Apple confirmed today that the shipments of the new iPhone 5 screens would be shipped to Apple this August. The president of Sharp told this great in one great sentence on the companies quarterly earning calls. The president of Sharp, Takashi Okuda said:

    “Shipments will start in August.”

It is noted that Sharp, LG, and Japan display would provide LCDs for the upcoming iPhone 5 this August to Apple.

Apple is planning for a Media Event on September 12 on which it will be unveiling the next Generation iPhone. The dates for the Media Event are rock firm. Many niche sources have confirmed the date, September 12 for the iPhone 5 launch.

    iphone_5_apple

This year it is believed that Apple will break the tradition of the screen size and they will point out a 4-inch screen for the iPhone 5 rather than the old traditional 3.5-inch display for the iPhone’s. This incremental change of 30% in the size of iPhone 5 displays seems to come from the influence of Apple’s competitor Samsung’s Galaxy S III. Samsung recently announced their new flagship with a 4.8-inch screen and Apple is planning for a 4-inch display.

To make an increment of 30 percent in the display size will bring many challenges for Apple regarding the Design, Size, Space, and all the other things including Applications. The big size will force the Applications for iOS to be reworked on to make them better looking on the bigger screen.

It is very early to say anything regarding the iPhone 5 so far, because the mockups for the iPhone 5 are not coming so good that one should go and buy when it is released on September 21. Lets just wait and see what Apple comes up with.

  • The New iPhone to Feature Eight-pin Dock, iOS 6 and Bluetooth 4.0 (Report)

The New iPhone to Feature Eight-pin Dock, iOS 6 and Bluetooth 4.0 (Report)

As the time is closing by, we are hearing different rumors/confirmations regarding the upcoming iPhone, iPad and iOS version. We have heard a lot about the upcoming iPhone 5 in the series of rumors posted day by day. This time the rumors have taken a new turn pointing out some new tidbits from the upcoming Apple Gadgets. Previously we have seen several reports pointing out towards the re design of the New iPhone with a 4-inch screen and reallocated dock with headphone jack port. The rumors about the charging dock stated that Apple would be releasing a 19-inch pin dock for the iPad MINI and for the New iPhone 5.

The confirmation about the 19-pin dock connector was not done because we heard about a 16-pin dock connector was also in the works by Apple. Therefore, it was unclear which one they would use. Today, we came across new news from iLounge stating that the New iPhone would get an eight-pin dock connector instead of the 30-pin dock connector that is in use and against the 19-pin dock connector that was rumored before.

According to two sources, Apple’s new Dock Connector features only 8 pins, seemingly contradicting claims of “16-pin” and “19-pin” connectors. Although the original Dock Connector contained 30 pins, reports of 16- or 19-pin connectors seemed hard to square with the port’s small size and Apple’s actual need for additional pins beyond what USB/Micro-USB offer.

No images or parts for the connector have leaked out, either. Both of our sources concur that there are eight pins in a line within the new Dock Connector, which may well receive a different name going forward.

Another source of iLounge dings in to confirm about the design features that the New iPhone dock connector would be getting. The new connector will feature the ability to be connected with dock or cable in whichever orientation the user puts in without making the person to see for the front end before placing the iPhone into charge.

A source chimes in to confirm and explain the second detail: the male connector has 8 pins on each side, while the female connector has only 8 pins on one side. This enables the iPhone/iPod/iPad (with female port) to connect to either side of a male cable or docking plug.

The new connector will come in two versions that will be Male and Fe-Male. The Male version will feature an eight-pin on both sides, where as the Fe-Male version will only get an eight-pin connectivity on one side. This will make ease for the user to place their iDevices on charge in any orientation they want in cable or plug.

    newdock_eight_pin_iphone-5

On the other hand, Apple is working on a secret feature in iOS 6 that hasn’t yet revealed in public or leaked yet.  The new feature is said to use the technology of Bluetooth 4.0 available in the latest iDevices to pair up with each other in a different way. The new Bluetooth 4.0 is available in iPhone 4S and iPad 3 till now and will be coming in future iDevices as well.

The new secret feature of iOS 6 is believed to function as a bridge between iDevices allowing one another to connect with each other easily and allowing making calls, see iMessages, and so forth. The feature of iMessages reading, voice recording, getting miss call alerts from iPhone to other iDevices are believed to come in iOS 6 and iPod Nano.

Our source also claimed that Apple is working on an as-yet-undisclosed iOS 6 feature that will act as a bridge between its Bluetooth 4-capable devices. The feature would enable, say, a future iPod nano to display iMessages received by an iPhone, record voice memos that could be shared via the iPhone, and even initiate phone calls through its own headphones. It could also conceivably let you make iPhone calls from your iPad (or possibly even recent Macs), assuming the iPhone was paired with the computer over Bluetooth.

The time is running out and the rumors are getting saucy day by day. We can only put out the rumors sauce on our crispy burger and eat it like a hungry man. This is the best that we can do so far.

Don’t forget that we have landed in the era of fall where the innovations begin in just few months and we have the iOS 6 in Beta 3. The Beta four of iOS 6 would be making its way some time this week or the next. The dates for the iPhone 5 launch are pillar firm. The date for the iPhone 5 launch is September 12, Friday. We are only a month away from the official launch of iPhone 5.

If you don’t know the name of the upcoming Jailbreak Convention, so we will tell you about the name of the upcoming Jailbreak Convention. The name is World Wide Jailbreak Convention (WWJC). The name might sound new to you but the team behind this convention is the same old one that conducted MyGreatFest. • Breaking: @P0sixninja Departs from The Chronic-Dev Team

Breaking: @P0sixninja Departs from The Chronic-Dev Team

Where the iPhone 5 is confirmed for the launch of September, we are now hearing that the most famous member of the Chronic-Dev Team, Joshua Hill (@P0sixninja) has left the Team with no solid reason stated. Today Joshua Hill announced on his Twitter account stating that he is no more in the team that he created few years with some other iOS Hackers. P0sixninja was the key member of The Chronic Dev-Team until now.

On the other hand, he also tweeted something related to money stating that it was never about money for me.

According to the tail, Tweets send by @P0sixninja on his Twitter account seems to be the matter of money. The reason that we can assume is related to money for the time being. However, @P0sixninja has contributed a lot for the community of Jailbreak. The Chronic Dev-Team worked together to accomplish the Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 4.x.x and iOS 5.x.x with the help of Absinthe and Greenpois0n. Recently the team joined up with the Dev-Team making a Dream Team to achieve the iOS 5.x.x Untethered Jailbreak for iPad 2, iPhone 4S, and iPad 3.

This sudden departure from the Jailbreaking scene arises many questions against @P0sixninja. We hope that the matter gets resolved soon and he comes back to the Team. We don’t want the key member of the Jailbreaking community to fly away from the Jailbreaking scene. We have already lost one Famous iOS Hacker, GeoHot (Georgehotz) from the Jailbreak world due to negative comments of people and criticisms. He ended up in making a PS3 Jailbreak that was later on followed by a Lawsuit from Sony EU.

After GeoHot, we lost another iOS Hacker called Comex, the developer behind Jailbreakme.com. He went on an internship at Apple and later on, Apple hired him because of his low level exploits making Apple go on shame.

Now we got another iOS Hacker, @P0sixninja in the pipeline who announced his departure today from the Chronic Dev-Team. All we have to do is wait and see for his new activities. We hope that he hasn’t left the Jailbreaking scene because the iPhone 5 with Jailbreakcon is around the corner. We want to see iPhone 5 exploited at this year Jailbreakcon.

  • iPhone 5, iPad Mini Scheduled for Mid-September Launch (Semi-Confirmed)

iPhone 5, iPad Mini Scheduled for Mid-September Launch (Semi-Confirmed)

Following the footsteps of iMore claims regarding the Apple Media Event planned for Mid-September 2012, Allthings D reconfirms the news of the Media Event to be held by Apple in Mid-September. iMore was the first one to break the ice about the upcoming Media Event to be held by Apple this year. It is highly expected that Apple would be releasing iPhone 5 and iPad Mini on their upcoming Media Event. The dates expected for the iPad Mini and iPhone 5 announcements are said to be 12 September 2012, where as the launch date is believed to be September 21, Friday.

According to Paczkowski of Allthings D, they have confirmed the news about the Media Event from their sources. They have learned that Apple is going to held a Media Event in Mid-September dating 12 or 21st. The Media Event will hold around this week.

Apple hasn’t yet officially announced the fall event at which it is expected to debut the next iteration of the iPhone, but it’s definitely planning one.

iMore was first to report that the company has scheduled a special event for Wednesday, September 12, and now we’ve confirmed it as well. Sources tell AllThingsD that Apple is currently planning an event for that week. Moreover, while we haven’t yet confirmed its focus, history suggests it will indeed be the new iPhone.

If we recall the previous rumor about September 21 from a French Blog App4phone, that stated about the iPhone 5 launch on September 21, Friday now seems to be legit because the dates told by iMore and Allthings D are matching with this previous rumor. At that time, we couldn’t say anything about the release of the rumor because the authenticity of the blog was not known. Now we can say that the App4phone posted the right date.

Do keep in mind that Allthings D has been very exact about the Apple’s rumors and it has been the first one to report about the Apple’s Media Events.

Now the weights for the September 12 date have been increased after having confirmation from two reliable sources.

Still there is much variation going on regarding the iPhone 5 design and specification. Early rumors are suggesting that the iPhone 5 would get a reallocated headphone jack and a new 19-pin dock connector. More over a 4-inch Screen, size and NFC Technology are confirmed for the iPhone 5. All we have to do is just wait for the iPhone 5 to launch or wait for the press release of the Media Event. Then we can say about what Apple had been cooking.

    UpdateX1:

We are hearing more citations from different niche and most reliable blogs regarding the Apple’s Media Event.

Dante D’Orazio from The Verge confirmed stating:

The rumor cycle this time around for the next iPhone has been a bit unusual — multiple leaks have all depicted the exact same components — but it looks like we’ll be seeing what Apple has up its sleeves come Wednesday, September 12th. Our own sources have confirmed that date, and multiple websites have similar reports as well.

Jim Dalrymple from TheLoop confirmed stating a big

    YEP.
