iPhone 5 Nano SIM Introduced by Mobilink in Pakistan, Others to Follow

As the iPhone 5 started to arrive in the local market of Pakistan, people started to make the Nano SIM Card a great nightmare. Every one is/was thinking to buy an iPhone 5, but the nightmare of the Nano SIM Card kept them away from making the purchase behavior. However, some people took a great risk and bought the iPhone 5. They opted to wait for the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Arrival on the carriers that was not expected to be arriving soon. Therefore, they opted to use YouTube and find some other solutions for the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Card making. Few of them succeeded and few of them failed. Mobilink would be the first carrier to bring in the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Card in Pakistan, so its users can use the iPhone 5 exclusively on this sole carrier without any hustle.

Mobilink has announced the availability of Nano-SIMs for its customers in Pakistan to ensure that Mobilink customers are enabled to use the iPhone 5 on its network.

After hearing this great news, we opted to call the helpline of Mobilink to ask them if they really got Nano SIM Card with them or not. Guess what. When we called the helpline, we asked them about the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Card availability, the representative asked to hold on while he confirms from other departments about the Nano SIM Card for the iPhone 5. After asking from other departments, the representative clearly refused the availability of the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Cards on Mobilink. The representative said to check in a day or two and we should call them before going to customer care center for the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Cards.

This clearly means that Mobilink haven’t got the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Cards et, but they would be getting in a day or two or by the end of this weekend. Those of you are using Mobilink and waiting for the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Card should wait for few more days and should call the helpline before you even think of paying a visit to near by franchise or customer care center of Mobilink.

After Mobilink will introduce the iPhone 5 Nano SIM in Pakistan, we expect other carriers to follow the lead soon. If they failed to achieve the target of iPhone 5 Nano SIM Cards, they will be loosing customers.

Today we called a source in Warid (not to be named) and he told use that it would take about 3-4 weeks for the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Cards to arrive on this carrier.

Telenor

As far as Telenor is concerned, we don’t think they got any plans for releasing the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Cards. Our Author asked Telenor people over Twitter about the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Cards and this is what they replied.

If the user fails to pickup the iPhone 5 in the above-mentioned time, then the iPhone 5 would be sold to another customer. This policy for the iPhone 5 was kept by Apple to bring in the stock for the iPhone 5 that has been out of stock since September 21. Somehow, Apple failed to stock the iPhone 5 on the spot and the pre-orders delivery time slipped to 3-4 weeks.

Many people might have cancelled their pre-orders to grab and iPhone 5 as soon as possible. Those who cancelled their pre-orders or willing to buy one from the Retail Store can now go Apple’s Retail Store website and place an order for the iPhone 5 between 10:00pm and 4:00AM. iCrime Increased by 40%, Warning Issued by NYPD to iProduct Owners

Apple iDevices are one of the best selling devices around the globe and to purchase them, people line up weeks before the new product is going to launch by Apple. To lineup outside the Apple Store to get a new product is very fascinating. Every one loves to stand outside the Apple from about a week before the new product is set on sale. We can say that to form a line outside the Apple Store in order to buy a new product has become a tradition. Every new owner of the Apple Device loves to wait for the launch of the new product and wants to get it the same day it is available on sale. This love of people towards Apple iDevices cannot be measured.

However, we can say that this extreme love for Apple products has spread from real owners to snatchers even. – 69% of the 9% increase in grand larcenies overall, an increase of 2,600 grand larcenies overall, of which 1,803 involved Apple products.

Philip Schiller Official Statement on iPhone 5 Scratches and Chips

The day iPhone 5 went on sale, some people started to complain about scratches and chips found on the iPhone 5 unibody in Black and Slate Color. Where as the White and Silver color had no issues reported in the same matter. The brand new iPhone 5 in Black and Slate Color was reported to be having some scratches around the top corner when taken out of the box. Many people thought the reason would be the increase in the production of the iPhone 5, as the overwhelming demand for the iPhone 5 is in progress. Apple was out of stock on September 14, when they started the first pre-orders. According to the report issued later on stated that Apple has sold two million iPhone 5’s in just twenty-four hours.

In those twenty-four hours, Apple ran out of stock. Then on September 21, the iPhone 5 went on sale and again it went out stock, where as the pre-orders shipment was delayed from 1-2 weeks to 3-4 weeks. However, those who got the iPhone 5 in Black and Slate Color reported some chips on the top of the iPhone 5. Therefore, a reader of 9to5mac took the initiative to mail the Senior Vice President of Apple regarding the issue that people are having on the black iPhone 5.

Any aluminum product may scratch or chip with use, exposing its natural silver color. That is normal.

iPhone 5 Tops 5 Million Sales in 3 Days With 100 Million iOS 6 Updates

Today Apple announced the sales figures for the iPhone 5 that went on sale this past Friday, September 21. Apple reports the iPhone 5 made phenomenal sales of five million in just three days of its launch. These sales figures are inclusive of the previous two million pre-orders that were made on September 14. It means, Apple has sold three million iPhone 5 units from September 21 and two million iPhone 5 units from pre-orders. This makes five million iPhone 5 units sold in just three days. The sales figures are remarkable. These sales figures are excluding the iPhone 5 pre-orders that are in pending.
