Google Released Google Maps for iOS With Street View and More (Download)

Finally, the most awaited Google Maps application for iOS is now live at the Apple Store. The same Google Maps App for iOS that was rumored to come in October and was reported to be in the approval phase by the App Store approval team. Days passed by and we never sawed the Google Maps for iOS arriving at the Apple Store for download. When it took a bit long, it was perceived that Apple might not be approving the Google Maps for iOS because of competition with Google in Maps field. However, later on, emerging rumors suggested that this isn’t the case, Google is working hard to improve their Maps App, and the company will release it whenever the App is given a green signal from testing department.

DreamJailbreak Released iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak Teaser, Fake or Real (Video)

As soon as we heard about an Untethered Jailbreak coming on its way by a person called DreamJailbreak, the speculations of Fake started to take heat because the name and person was very new in the market. All the developers of iOS and hackers stated this DreamJailbreak as a hoax and total fraud. The iOS hackers claimed his tool as a new way to spread virus/malware on to different computers behind the name of Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 6 because every one is hungry for the Untethered Jailbreak from long time. As we know that the Dev-Team and the Chronic Dev-Team didn’t came up with something yet because to make a Jailbreak for any new iOS version is not as easy as an ABC.

In order to obtain an Untethered Jailbreak, the iOS hackers need to face the music and have to go through several hurdles before they can achieve the goal. But this DreamJailbreak guy came out from now where claiming to Jailbreak iOS 6.0.1 Untethered on iPhone 5, iPad Mini, iPad 3, iPod Touch 5, and all the devices that support iOS 6.x.x. According to him, the Untethered Jailbreak that he got is a User Land Exploit and will be patched by Apple as soon as possible.

However, the main concern is over the legitimacy of the Untethered Jailbreak tool called DreamJailbreak. After being criticized by almost every one on the Internet, the DreamJailbreak developer posted few days back that he will be releasing a proof video of the Untethered Jailbreak on Wednesday, which is today to proof the legitimacy of the Untethered Jailbreak that he has made.

How to Root Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini I8190 (Noobs Guide)

The little brother of Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S3 Mini finally is rooted. Samsung released this new member of the Galaxy S Family back in October, when Apple announced the next big thing with the name of the iPhone 5 in preceding month of September. When we came across this Galaxy S3 Mini, it was perceived that the small brother of Galaxy S3, Galaxy S3 Mini is released to serve the low-end market and to compete with the iPhone 5 at low price. However, Galaxy S3 Mini is packed with the same features as of Galaxy S3 and the only difference is of the resolution.

The resolution of Galaxy S3 Mini is 800X480, where as Galaxy S3 has got about 720p resolution. Other than the resolution, everything is the same with reference to features of Galaxy S3 Mini and Galaxy S3. The build of internal components is for sure different because both got different model numbers. The Galaxy S3 got I9300 and Galaxy S3 Mini got I8190 (Depends on the carriers as well).

Moving towards the main question that is frequently asked and every one wants to know about it. The question asked is, “Can the Device be Rooted?”

At first, the answer is always in a big YES because these Devices are packed with Android OS that can be rooted after sometime of the release.

Following the preceding releases by Samsung for its Galaxy S series, we have come across Galaxy S3, Galaxy Camera, and Galaxy S3 Mini. The Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Camera were rooted sooner than expected and this Galaxy S3 Mini was left behind that is now being taken care of by XDA Developers.

How to Root Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini I8190

Before you proceed on with the rooting, kindly read the message posted at XDA Developers Forum:

Until somebody will release CWM Recovery or root for this device, I managed to create a pre-rooted firmware.
This firmware base on the last build for I8190, is a full firmware exactly like the original, except the root.
after flash you will see the SuperSU app in the app drawer.

Step 1:

Download the pre-rooted firmware file (of 500MB) from here. The file will be in a zip format.

Download Odin 3 from here.

Download Wipe_I8190 from here.

Step 2:

Once you have downloaded all the files, make a new folder with the name of Galaxy S3 Mini Root for your own ease.

After the folder creation is done, extract the pre-rooted zip file in the folder to get a .tar file from it.

Step 3:

Now open Odin 3 and attach the .tar file that you got from the .zip attachment in PDA in Odin 3.

Step 4:

Now Put the divece into download mode. (vol down + home + power button, and then click on vol up).

Step 5:

The final step is to connect the device via PC and wait for Odin to detect the device. Once the detection is done, press start and the work will start on your Galaxy S3 Mini.

Trouble Shooting:

For some reason it’s impossible in this device to boot into recovery mode (by combination of buttons).
If you want to do wipe data doing it from the settings menu (factory reset) or if you have a boot loop problem, flash the attached file WIPE_I8190.zip (the tar file inside zip) via odin in pda, it will do wipe data automaticly.

iPhone 5S Alleged Release Date With Specs Revealed Ahead of Galaxy S4 Launch

Before we enter in 2013, reload your wallets, bankcards, accounts, and every possible medium of Money Availability because two major competitors are going to strike one after another or head to head. This will be the first time in history when both the competitors would be releasing an upgrade of their smart phone lineups followed by one another and the amazing thing is that both of the competitors are looking forward to take the competition to a completely new level. Before we proceed on with further details, the two companies that are going to compete are Apple and Samsung. The same rival companies well known for the most famous lawsuit that was featured everywhere in the world and on different electronic sources.

Before we continue with the “S” update by Apple, we have talked about the rumored Galaxy S4 in past and recently we reported about the purported launch date of Galaxy S4. Now coming towards the iPhone 5S, we have already reported about two different rumors regarding this suspicious iPhone 5S. As for now, Jeffries analyst Peter Misek who claims that Apple is planning to release an “S” version of the iPhone 5S in June 2013 with major features and specification’s upgrades. The updates include NFC, improved camera, improved Display, and few more things.

In the claim of Misek, it is also found that the iPhone 5S will be available in 6-8 different colors like the current iPod Touch 5 has. In addition to NFC, Colors, and camera, it is claimed that the iPhone 5S will have improved battery life with a SuperHD Screen. This means that Apple might be updating the iPhone 5S screen from current 1136X640 (326ppi) to 1080p display with more than (326ppi) that is a far more better resolution than the current retina display.

A part from the iPhone 5S rumor mill, Misek Analyst claims to have some information regarding the iPhone 6. In his claim for the iPhone 5S, he also states that Apple has several iPhone 6 units floating around with A7 Quad Core Processor Chips.

Several iPhone 6 prototypes appear to be floating around. The model with a 4.8″ screen is the most interesting. It has a Retina+ IGZO screen, a new A7 quad-core processor variant, and a new form factor with no home button. Full gesture control is also possibly included.

The release date for the iPhone 5S predicted by Misek is for June 2013. We can further classify the month of June in which Apple takes on the stage with ne software announcements and upcoming products. In other words, we can say that Apple goes on with WWDC on which the tech giant announces many new things and the future of its products. Therefore, we can expect an iPhone 5S making its way on WWDC 13 because few years back Apple announced iPhone 4 at WWDC.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Release Date Teaser Released by Samsung (Teaser)

It is highly expected that Samsung is planning to unveil something new and big on its upcoming C.E.S (Consumer Electronic Show) Event planned in the second week of January 2013. The new and big thing is expected to be another Samsung Galaxy S Flagship that will be called Galaxy S4. At this time, it might sound strange that how come Samsung be planning for another Phone, when it already got two flagship of its released in preceding months following the launch one after another. Back in May, Samsung released Galaxy S3 and later in September, Samsung released a new member in the family by announcing Galaxy S3 Mini for low-end market users.

The first Smart Phone, Galaxy S3 is about seven months old and the Galaxy S3 Mini is only four months old. Samsung already got two smart phones released in the market and the company is further planning to release another smart phone with killing specification doesn’t sounds good. The release of Galaxy S4 is not yet confirmed or rock firm. But, on Monday, the teaser released by Samsung for the upcoming C.E.S might be hinting towards something new is coming because in the teaser, the Korean company has teased about “The World Awaits” for something new and innovative coming on its way at C.E.S 2013.

Teaser of First iOS 6.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak Coming on December 22 by Dream JB

It has been a long time since we heard the name of “Jailbreak” or “Untethered Jailbreak” for iOS 6.x.x. We did heard about the departure of Comex from the Jailbreaking world because of this studies that he wanted to allot time rather than finding more exploits and put Apple to shame. Soon after the departure of Comex, Posixninja of the Chronic-Dev Team also departed from the team due to some internal issues related to money. However, Posixninja (Joshua Hill) didn’t stopped working for the Jailbreak community, he indeed worked on his own to find as much exploits that he can to PWN the A5, A5X, A6, and A6X processor series lineups.

In the preceding month of November, we told you people about groundbreaking news regarding the progress that Posixninja made for the Untethered Jailbreak of iOS 6.0.1 on A5, A5X, A6, and A6X processors line ups. Incase if you have missed the news, you can view it here. Well, that was the last time when we came across the first update regarding the Jailbreak and as of now, no one jumped into the scene and made any announcements other than this new member in the Jailbreak Community.

This new member call him self as Dream JB (Jailbreak) who claims that he has found the Untethered Jailbreak solution for iOS 6.0.1 on iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPod Touch 4, and iPod Touch 5. The claim of this person or team is that they have obtained the iOS 6.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak on every single device running iOS 6.0.1 and they would be making the release on December 22 exactly. The team or person vows to release the tool on December 22 and wont delay the tool.

The identity of the person behind DreamJB is unknown because he has set on some privacy on his website. Who ever is the person behind the DreamJB, he seems to be too much pissed on the Jailbreak community Hackers.

In a note on his website, it is written that:

Mid to early next week – FAQ will be posted, information regarding the jailbreak procedure, information about the Dream app itself, error reporting, and introduction video.

This topic of iOS 6.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak is gaining heat as the time is closing by for the final release date. Recently, the developer of Dream Jailbreak announced on this Twitter account that the Exploit would be a user land exploit and not any bootrom level exploit.
