  • Kariem McFarlin Robs Steve Jobs’ Home Stealing Items Worth $60,000

Kariem McFarlin Robs Steve Jobs’ Home Stealing Items Worth $60,000

Today we came across new news that is not related to the iPhone 5. This time the news is related to the Late C.E.O of Apple, Steve Jobs’. The report claims that Late C.E.O’s house in Alto Palo became the victim of a solid robbery making a loss of $60,000. The robbery was done last Month in July. The housebreaker took off with Steve Jobs’ personal belongings and some computers that worth $60,000. This incident occurred when none of the family member was at home because of the on going renovation of Steve Jobs’ house the last month.

The housebreaker was unaware of the fact that the house he was robing in Alto Palo was of the most famous person. The police related to the case declined to state anything further and refused to state any statement because the charges were filed against the housebreaker.

According to Jason Green of The San Jose Mercury News:

The deceased Apple co-founder’s home on Waverley Street in Palo Alto was burglarized July 17, said Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney Tom Flattery, a member of the high-technology crimes unit.

More over the burglary is said to an untargeted rather than a targeted one. The computers that were stolen were of the family member or Steve Jobs’. This thing is unconfirmed.

More than $60,000 worth of “computers and personal items” were allegedly stolen, but Flattery declined to say whether they belonged to Jobs, who died last year at the age of 56, or another family member.

By the start of the next month, that is August, the burglar was arrested due connection with some crime. The name of the burglar is Kariem McFarlin, 35 years old, of Alameda. After 5 days of the housebreaking, he was accused for housebreaking and selling stolen property.

The housebreaker is now in county Jail on $500,000 Bail, could be charged with a minimum life sentence of 7 years and eight months. He will also be charged with a Boost of “Excessive Taking of Property.” Tom Flattery, the district Attorney said.

The crime that took place is done randomly, but one thing that makes us confuse is that when the housebreaker broke into house, he only took most the electronic stuff from different places. While he was taking the things from different places in the house, didn’t he came over the picture of Steve Jobs’ in the house hanging on the wall or on any computer table or any where placed on the shelf.

However, when a housebreaker is on lose, he never cares about whom house it is, he is in a rush to get the work done ASAP. Still the house was of not any normal person, the house was of the Late C.E.O of Apple, Steve Jobs’.

Anyways, the housebreaker did what he had to, and the simplicity of Steve Jobs’ should be seen in this matter that he had no guards; no cameras to watch after his house in Alto Palo; even after being such a rich person he never ever installed or hired any of the things in the house.

What do you people think over this incident?

Today a third major retailer has joined the competition of price slashing on the iPhone’s. The first carrier to do price slashing was Sprint, then Apple joined the game, after Apple BestBuy, and now Target is said to be in the price slashing game. Target is offering iPhone’s by AT&T and Verizon with a $50 off on contract based iPhone Models. Soon after Apple began to discount the iPhone Models at their retail Store BestBuy started to discount the iPhone 4 8GB Model to $49.99 making a $50 off the iPhone 4 8GB Model, Where as the price of the iPhone 4S remains the same $199.99.

    att_iphone_4s

In addition to the above price slashing game, Target is now selling the iPhone 4S 16GB model at a price tag of $149.99 on carriers of Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T. Meanwhile Sprint has discounted every model of iPhone with $50 off them.

The reason behind this price slashing game is to be blamed the iPhone 5 emerging rumors. The rumors regarding the iPhone 5 are emerging like a volcano making all the carriers go with a price slash. However, recent news regarding the iPhone 5 confirmed that the Media Event will be held on September 12, where as the Pre-Orders are also lined up for the same day. The launch is expected in U.S by September 21 for the first wave and the second wave would be released in the first week of October.

Today some reliable sources from AT&T also confirmed about a mysterious event coming in September and a scheduled training has been planned for the employees regarding a new product by Apple in October. The expected product is the iPhone 5.

iPhone 5 Pre-Orders Start September 12 with October Sales Worldwide

The tech giant, Apple is planning for the pre-orders of the iPhone 5 on the same day of its announcement. This confirmation report comes from a reliable news source blog called iMore. iMore, which was the leading source to tell about the Media Event that Apple has planned on September 12, now gossips a new news that Apple will begin the pre-orders for the iPhone 5 on the same day of its announcement following the release of first wave on September 21. September 21 the same date, that was previously rumored for the first wave release of the iPhone 5.

    iphone-5-mockup-new

The first wave of the iPhone 5 is always released in U.S following some other countries. After the first wave of release, the second wave continues to start internationally in other countries. This time iMore claims that the second wave would be released in first week of October. We assume the date same as of the iPhone 4S that was 5 October for the second wave.

We’ve since learned that iPhone 5 pre-orders are currently planned to begin that same day, at least in the U.S. Release is still planned for 9 days later, on September 21, 2012. We’ve also learned that the second wave of iPhone launches, the ones in international markets, will begin in the first week of October, likely October 5.

The events might seem identical as of the last years one, but they are not going to follow the same date as of iPhone 4S launch one. The iPhone 4S was announced on October 4 with pre-orders starting three days later. The iPhone 4S debuted in U.S and other countries a week later.  Then the second wave was released soon after two weeks of the first wave.

This time Apple is following the tradition of their WWDC 12 announcement of Retina MAC Book series. They announced the sales of the MAC Book Retina series the same day of the announcement with shipment. This time Apple will be over loaded with huge orders for the iPhone 5. Therefore, we can expect a real delay in the shipment of iPhone 5. Previously Apple has begun the pre-orders in the mid of night, so this time we are expecting the pre-orders starting from Midnight.

  • iPhone 5 Alleged Motherboard/Logic board Images Surfaced (Photos)

iPhone 5 Alleged Motherboard/Logic board Images Surfaced (Photos)

With the new fresh start of a new day, we are back with some news regarding the iPhone 5. Recently a member of Chinese forum called WeiPhone posted out some pictures of the iPhone 5 alleged Motherboard/Logic Board. If the images are legit, then the parts will be considered as prototype because the parts are missing out some labeling that Apple does before making it final. This leak of hardware parts is another major leak after the alleged leaks of the case, SIM Frame, Front Glass, and back panel.

    iphone5-motherboard

The SIM card slot is also noted to be smaller than of the iPhone 4/4S. This image of the small SIM card puts more weight on the previous rumor enclosed by Engadget that the iPhone would feature NANO- SIM card. Apple has used MICRO SIM Card technology in their iPhone 4/4S and this time they are expected to go with NANO SIM Card technology with the iPhone 5.

    iPhone-5_antenna_battery

Moreover, the battery connecter point has five pins, as compared to the four pin of the iPhone 4S battery. This hints towards a larger battery for the iPhone 5. Few days back, 9to5mac posted some images of a purported iPhone 5 Battery of 3.8mAh. The leaked battery is said to be of iPhone 5 due to high mAh and bigger size.

Prior to the launch of iPhone 5, we have came across the back panel, the front panel screen, the mother/logic board today, and many parts before today concluding that the iPhone 5 is now partially leaked. What we don’t have for now is the processor and the other hardware components for the time being. To sum up all the things we have seen an assembled iPhone 5 prototype.

To make things more easy, the French Blog, nowhereelse.fr has made a .GIF image to show that the leaked parts of the mother/logic board fits onto the back panel of the supposedly iPhone 5.

    iPhone-5-Logic_mother_Board

Till now the components that were leaked are of no interest. We are interested in the CPU of the iPhone 5, the major part of the iPhone 5. For the time being we are not relying on the all the leaks made so far. We will wait for the official announcement of the iPhone 5. The official announcement of iPhone 5 is in September.
