Purported Images of the iPhone 5 Connector Leaked (Pictures)

We are back again with a new leak of today. This time the leak is of the purported iPhone 5 connectors that surfaced on the Internet recently. The images came from nowhereelse.fr blog. The same French blog that posted many leaks regarding the iPhone in past and is posting now for the iPhone 5. Recently the French blog shared couple of photos of the supposedly connector of the iPhone 5 suggesting that the iPhone 5 would get an eight-pin connecter rather than the rumored 16-19-pin dock connector.

The above picture shows an 8-pin connector for the upcoming iPhone 5. Relatively the connector is smaller than the previous version’s of the iPhone’s. The picture also shows the insertion pin featuring eight gold pins and small round connector. However, the authenticity of the images cannot be confirmed or proven at this time by the French Blog. They them self has taken the images as a rumor.

According to Macrumors, nowhereelse has a poor record of leaks leading to the final launch of iPad. However, the leaks have been quite well until they started to leak the iPhone 5 parts. The images seem to be legit because they are getting the parts from the Asian Suppliers.

The debate about the upcoming iPhone 5 is very long. Once you get into the debate of the iPhone 5, there is no way coming out until the final launch of it. We have been actively reporting about all the iPhone 5 rumors that we came across. The debate regarding the iPhone 5 would end on September 12.

  • Claimed Thinner Battery of the iPhone 5 Leaked Showing Larger Volume

Claimed Thinner Battery of the iPhone 5 Leaked Showing Larger Volume

The rumors and leaks regarding the iPhone 5 are living on the edge these days. Every single day we are hearing about a new rumor and a new leak regarding the iPhone 5. Previously we have seen many internal components leaked of the iPhone 5 suggesting a new thinner design than the iPhone 4S. The internal components also showed that the iPhone 5 would feature NFC Technology and 4G LTE Radio. These tings were rumored from a long time. After the internal components leak, we came across the outer design leaks that were the main front frame, back aluminum frame, and the SIM Card frame.

Today, we got one more new leak in the pipeline of iPhone 5. Today’s leak is one of the most important part of the iPhone 5. The part is of the power source called “Battery”. The Battery of the iPhone 5 was leaked today. This news comes from the reliable sources of 9to5mac with the help of Sony Dickson; the iOS Expert pointing out that the battery of the iPhone 5 is of 3.8v. The batteries are of more capacity than of the previous version of the iPhone 4/4S. This new leaked battery features a power of 1440mAh. That is about 10% greater than iPhone 4S and 20% greater than iPhone 4. The battery volume in iPhone 4S is 1430mAh and in iPhone 4 1420mAh. The volumes of the battery pack were examined by iFixit.

    iphone5_batteries_pack

Amazingly, the battery pack image on the right side shows us the MFG (Manufacturing Date) of 06/12 that is June 2012. This MFG hints towards the iPhone fall launch.

Therefore, the watts-per-hour in the new battery has been increased from 5.25 and 5.3 to 5.45wHr. This increase in watts-per-hour is related to increase in the battery size and mAh.

This significant increase in the size of the battery makes the rumor about the 4G LTE more prominent. Apple might have increased the battery size because the 4G LTE requires more power to run or Apple increased the battery size to run more things with less power. Overall the battery is one of the most important that really matters in an iPhone or in any Phone. If the battery life is not good, despite the design or looks of the phone, the phone will fail to grab market. If we recall the iPhone 4S post launch, some battery issues occurred in the iPhone 4S suggesting a fault in the battery lineups. Fortunately, the issue was of the software that was resolved by Apple later on.

Moreover, the iPhone 5 announcement is set for September 12. We are only few weeks away from the launch.

This is how Apps on a 4-inch iPhone 5 might Look Like (Images)

Few days back we told you about the feature of iOS 6 called automatic scaling. This feature was revealed by 9to5mac on the rumored resolution of 640X1136 of iPhone 5. This new feature simply optimizes the Apps according to the size of the screen of the iPhone automatically. This feature was discovered with the help of iPhone simulator. After putting in the configuration of the same rumored resolution of 640X1136 of the iPhone 5, the new version of iOS 6 beta 4 automatically scaled the display to the above stated resolution without any glitches.

Earlier today playing with the same resolution and automated scaling feature, Sony Dickson the iOS specialist decided to come up with some screenshots of the native Applications in the iPhone on how they will look like on a 4-inch display and on 640X1136 resolution. Therefore, Dickson installed some of the native Apps on the iPhone Simulator to see how they will look on the larger display with the rumored resolution. After going on with some of the Apps, the results found by 9to5mac are as follows:

    iphone_5_scaled_image

The above picture clearly shows how the images are called to the taller display on the same rumored resolution. Above image is from the bookmarking feature of iOS 6 in Safari. We can clearly see that the icons are perfectly fitting with the larger resolution display.

    iphone5_simulator_apps

On the left side, the image is of the newsstand feature in iOS showing the scaling of the App perfectly fits with the resolution of 640X1136.

On the right side, the image shows 16 Apps in one folder pointing out towards an increment in the storage of Apps in a folder from 12 to 16. This image UI clearly states that the Apps are perfectly scaled for a larger display.

Above were some of the tests that were tested by Dickson in the iPhone Simulator of the Native iPhone Apps. The results were good for the iOS native Apps. All we have to see is now for the third party Apps that how will they look like on the iPhone Simulator on the same rumored resolution.

    USRP_n210_hardware

It is assumed that Pod2g is working on the Baseband Hack to grab out the amount of $100,000 from the DVLabsPwn20wn contest in September. DVLabs is offering $100,000 U.S Dollar over the Baseband Exploit. • Apple Retail Store Begin Price Toning Discount after Sprint

Apple Retail Store Begin Price Toning Discount after Sprint

Ahead of nex-generation iPhone launch, previously Sprint beaded the iPhone prices with a small discount of $50 off on the iPhone 4S. This sudden price drop of $50 was said to be done because of the emerging rumors pointing out towards the iPhone 5 September 12 announcement. The price drop was only noted by Sprint on the iPhone lineup. Even after the hardware leaks of the iPhone 5, Apple sustained the same on-contract price of $199/$299/$399 for the iPhone 4S, $99 for the iPhone 4, and free of cost for the iPhone 3GS.

Suddenly today after more leaked parts of the iPhone 5, it came into consideration of macrumors that Apple has authorized its retail stores to start off with the price matching technique with the major carriers to grab out some traffic towards them as well.

But a source has now revealed to MacRumors that Apple’s retail stores have been given authorization to match these discounted prices from approved major retailers and carriers.

Therefore, from now on Apple retail stores would be selling the iPhone 4S at a new price of $149.99/$249.99/$349.99, iPhone 4 at $49.99, and iPhone 3GS as usual free of cost. Apple simply sliced down $40.01 off their iPhone Models making a price match with all the other carriers.

    apple_iphone_price_discount

This sudden price match strategy by Apple hints towards the confirmation of the iPhone 5 for the fall launch. In past Apple has relatively dropped the prices on their previous model of iPhone’s when ever the new iPhone was to be announced.

Anyways, this offer of price drop is only available at the Apple retail Store and not for Online Orders. To take full advantage of this price drop, simply head over to the nearest Apple retail store and take full advantage of the the sudden price drop.
