Best Buy Getting Ready for the iPhone 5 Ahead of Apple Media Event

The mimics about the iPhone 5 are going to end in just few hours. After few hours, every one will be attached to their computer screens to see the unveiling of the most leaked iPhone in history. The iPhone will be called the future of iPhone Flagship by naming it the iPhone 5. As we are a day away from the iPhone 5 unveiling, reports are enclosing by that the major dealers have already started to get ready for the iPhone 5 ahead of the Media Event. The leading chain for the iPhone 5 is Best Buy for the time being who started to get ready for the iPhone 5.

As you can see in the above picture shared by iMore showing a parcel of Best Buy on which it is clearly stating the dates from September 18 to October 27,2012 for the Mobile Section. The parcel shown is believed to be some in-store-place-holder for the Phone section provided to Best Buy ahead of the iPhone 5 launch. This might mean that the iPhone 5 would arrive at Best Buy sometime between the above-mentioned dates. However, the above-mentioned dates are including the September 21 rumored launch date of the iPhone 5.

This means, Best Buy would be getting the iPhone 5 on display from September 18 to October 27, 2012 or Best Buy would be getting an iPhone 5 within the dates shown above.

Everything will be unveiled with the passage of time. so far, the iPhone 5 is going to unveil in some hours.

At this crucial moment, just hours away from the iPhone 5 unveiling, Best Buy only got in-store displays for the iPhone 5, where as Vodafone Germany has planned to start the sales of iPhone 5 Nano SIM as soon as the iPhone 5 is announced.

Vodafone Germany Ready to Launch iPhone 5 Nano SIM Cards

The evolution of SIM Cards from Macro to Nano is going to be done in next 24 hours with the launch of an amazing iPhone yet. This evolution has been planned by Apple, but will be inaugurated by different carriers around the world. The moment Apple will announce the iPhone 5 on stage, different carriers in the world would start to deliver the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Cards before the iPhone 5 goes on sale. This time the leading partner of iPhone 5 Nano SIM Cards is Vodafone Germany who has stocked up everything prior to iPhone 5 release and is waiting for the announcement to be made, so it can carry on with the shipments of the iPhone 5 Nano SIM Cards in Germany.

Google Released Standalone YouTube App for iOS 6 (Download Link)

Earlier this August we learned about the removal of YouTube.app from Apple’s iDevices in the upcoming iOS 6. The removal was made in iOS 6 Beta 4, when it was installed on iPhone or iPod or iPad, several developers reported about the YouTube.app icon was missing from the iOS 6 beta 4 version. At first, it seemed to be some sort of bug, but later on, Apple issued an official statement stating that their license for the YouTube.app has been expired. Therefore, the customers can use the YouTube in safari rather than to wait for a built-in YouTube.app.

Later on, we also learned that Google is planning for a Standalone YouTube.app for iOS that will debut some time next month or later on. So today, Google finally announced the YouTube standalone App in the App Store for iPhone and iPod. The iPad version of the YouTube App has been left in dark. However, the iPad version of the YouTube App will be released sometime later with vast improvements. Moreover, this standalone YouTube Application for iOS is more stable than the previous built-in version available in preceding versions of iOS.

What to Expect from iPhone 5 on September 12 Media Event (Review)

The iPhone 5 Media Event is around the corner and as for now everything is official. Apple has invited selected Media Personal to come on September 12 to see what they got for them by sending out Media Invites on Tuesday. Following the Media Invites, on Friday Apple started to decorate Yerba Buena Center for the Arts with a colorful banner. That color full banner had a mystery hidden in it that was revealed today. Lets talk about the iPhone 5 from scratch.

Last year when Apple invited for the Media Event on October 4 with a clear invitation stating “Lets Talk iPhone”, at that time the iPhone 5 was highly expected. Few days before the event, the iPhone 5 name was on the verge. However, before the event could start, it was hinted that there might be no new iPhone this fall and Apple might release an update to iPhone 4 with some minor changes. Unfortunately, same thing happened. The iPhone 4S was announced with nothing new other than the hardware changes. The design was the same as of the iPhone 4. Many fans were disappointed and waited to opt for the iPhone 5 until next year. Somehow, the sales of the iPhone 4S made a new record.

The time passed by and we started to come across alleged leaks regarding the iPhone 5. The leaks session started back in the month of March or May, when we came across the first alleged iPhone 5 mockup. The mockup was rumored to be unproven until we came across more mockups. Soon after the first mockup, we got a line of leaks from one month to another. The leaks started to come like a drop of water from a tap, one after another.

Every month we were hearing about a new leak with the same old mockup. After sometime, we came across the leaked front panels of the iPhone 5 and alleged back casing of the iPhone 5. It was not long when we came across a fully assembled iPhone 5. We also came across the iPhone 5 hands on video and how the iPhone 5 with larger screen would look in a person’s hand. After crossing all the leaked dummies of the iPhone 5, we came across the alleged hardware parts of the iPhone 5. The first part of the iPhone 5 was dock connector with reallocated headphone jack. Then we came across the front panel assembled with hardware.

As for today, we have seen a fully leaked alleged iPhone 5 before the release. The only thing that is confirmed and for sure coming in the iPhone 5 is a 4-inch screen about which we know and are sure.

Until now, we told you the summary of the iPhone 5 leaks. Now we would be telling you about our expectations from iPhone 5 on September 12.

What to expect from iPhone 5 on September 12?

Therefore, lets start with our expectations based on preceding rumors.

The iPhone 5 Design

It is very early to comment on the iPhone 5 design, however we believe the design to be the same as of the leaked one. The design that was leaked showed redesigned version of the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 5 would be thinner than the iPhone 4S for sure.

iPhone 5 will carry the two tone color design by replacing the back glass part with metal or aluminum back.

iPhone 5 Features, Price, and Specs

The iSight Camera

We expect the iPhone 5 camera to be of 12MP. The iPhone 4S featured an 8MP camera. Therefore, 12MP camera makes sense for the iPhone 5. The camera would feature more lenses and better quality than of the iPhone 4S one.

Video Recording:

The video recording would remain the same, 1080p because no greater resolution has come out yet.

Front Camera:

We predict the front camera to get an update to 8MP, would be great if Apple made this upgrade.

Processor:

The processor in the iPhone 5 would be updated for sure. The new processor would be called A6 that will feature a quad-core speed.

RAM:

The RAM will be updated as well from 512MB to 1GB because Apple didn’t updated RAM in the iPhone 4/4S as well. This time they should update the RAM to beat out the competitors.

Display:

The display of the iPhone 5 would be the same traditional Retina Display with purported 1136×640 resolution.

The screen size would be increased from 3.5-inch to 4-inch. This would be a great breakthrough.

NFC Technology:

We don’t think that the NFC would be making space in the iPhone 5 this year. Apple doesn’t seem to be interested in NFC. Moreover, the leaks also showed a red flag in the matter of NFC.

4G LTE Network:

The iPhone 5 will also feature a 4G LTE Network that will be supported by different carriers around the world soon after the release of it.

Bluetooth:

The Bluetooth 4.0 would be featured in iPhone 5 also, the same version that was introduced in the iPhone 4S. Apple might make some changes in the iPhone 5’s Bluetooth Wireless technology.

Power and Battery:

The battery in the iPhone 5 would be of greater mAh (3.8mAh). This increment in the iPhone 5 Battery might increase the talk time from 8 hours to 10 hours on 3G and from 14 hours to 16 hours on 2G. The stand by time would increase from 200 hours to 300 hours.

Headphones:

The iPhone 5 is rumored to get redesigned headphones. The new headphones will shape like a horse headed headphones that can be viewed here.

iOS Version:

The iPhone would feature the upcoming iOS 6 for sure in which it will get the automated scaling feature.

SIRI:

We are expecting an update to SIRI in iOS 6. The SIRI will be updated to support many more languages that are new. New features would be added to SIRI. SIRI will get more interesting than before.

Color:

The iPhone 5 will feature the same two color tones of black and white. We don’t expect any new color lineups for the iPhone 5.

iPhone 5 Pricing:

Yerba Buena Embellishment Hint towards a Taller 4-inch iPhone

This Friday Apple started to decorate Yerba Buena Center for the Arts for the upcoming iPhone 5 presentation. The iPhone 5 presentation is planned for September 12. Therefore, Apple started the decoration exactly five days before the iPhone 5 unveiling. It is believed that Apple loves to hide some secret message in its banners. In past, Apple has being doing the same thing on almost every event. We have made a compilation of all the previous events with the details about the banners in the report present here. When the banner of Yerba Buena Centre for the Arts was completed, every one started to look for a hint and couldn’t find something good other than beautiful colors and pointed out an addition of iPod Color line-ups will be made.

However, later today the story took a U-Turn. Later today, an observant reader of Macrumors pointed out the mystery behind the Yerba Buena Centre for the Arts logo decorated by Apple stating that the logo is made of several iOS icons. The icons are simply stretched to show a larger display will be shown off at the media event. The icons used in the preparation of the logo are stated to be of Music.app, iTunes.app, Stocks.app, Safari.app, and Game Center.app. These icons are stretched to make the banner of the Yerba Buena Centre.

Various Colors Coming to iPod Flagships on September 12 Media Event

Ahead of the iPhone 5 launch on September 12 Media Event, it is expected that Apple might announce a new line-up of the iPod Flagships. The iPod Flagships might get a new make up from old five colors to new eight colors. The new color scheme is unknown for the time being because no such speculations have been rendered regarding the iPod Flagships. All we came across was the iPhone 5 news. However, in the preceding month, we did reported about a leaked iPod Touch Fifth Generation case from GizChina. The case that was leaked showed a possibility of L.E.D Flashlight, same 4-inch display as of iPhone 5, and a slimmer design than the previous version of the iPod Touch 4G.

Soon after the iPod Touch Fifth Generation news, we came across another news stating that the iPod Nano will be getting Cloud iTunes and Wi-Fi support. Now the reports regarding the iPod Flagships have changed with the direction of wind pointing out towards something else and new would be arriving on September 12 Media Event. The reports are claiming that the previous version of iPod Touch would be prices low and some new colors might be introduced in the iPod Touch Flagship series. This means, Apple would be introducing redesigned iPod Nano’s, fine-tuned iPod Shuffles, and new colors of iPod Touches.

The report of new line-up and colors comes from 9to5mac’s, Mark Gurman who got more information on the iPod Nano, iPod Shuffle, and the iPod Touch rumors.

The iPod Shuffle News:

We’re also told that the changes to this new iPod shuffle will not be major changes. We’re also told that the new iPod shuffle will come in eight colors.

According to the sources of 9to5mac, they have learned about the new iPod Shuffle that it will be priced the same $49, no major changes would be made to the iPod Shuffle lineups, and the iPod Shuffle will get eight news colors with the previous five existing colors.

The iPod Nano News:

The new iPod Nano member is expected to join the family on September 12 Media Event. The upcoming iPod Nano will carry a new design with changed internal specifications. This new iPod Nano is believed to carry a screen with larger display and Wi-Fi Capability in it. A new iPod Nano would come in eight colors same as of the iPod Shuffle colors.

The iPod Touch News:

This year it seems that Apple is planning to redesign the old fourth generation iPod Touch models by changing the outer shape of its iPod Touch. The changes might of the new pin-dock connector, increment in storage, and iOS 6 pre-installed in the iPod Touch.

We’re also told that these new $299 and $399 iPod models (which we assume are new iPod touches) will come in multiple variations. Perhaps, for the first time, the new iPod touches will come in various colors, but that’s just what we’re inferring, not confirming.

As speculated by Gurman, the iPod Touches might also come in new color varieties. This would be the first time in history of Apple to introduce new color scheme in the iPod Touch series. We believe this will be a great breakthrough for Apple to introduce new color lineups in the iPod Flagships.

Before the September 12 Media Event starts, we predict about the iPod’s to get colored is somewhat true. Because the way Apple has decorated the Yerba Buena Centre for the Arts with many beautiful color stripes, it assures that new colors are coming on the Media event.
